Just received a call from Shalimar (Shelly Shalimar) who needs a place to stay. This coming Friday she will be kicked out of the nursing home she is in up in Indianapolis. She doesn't have a way to post on here, but her number is 516-749-8481, and that is the only way she can get a hold of anyone. She's pretty desperate and will take sleeping on a couch or in a recliner if needed, but would also need someone to get her. I asked the other people that live with me and it was a no for them, so I am not able to help, but I told her I'd put out a call here since many know her here.

The exchange was a set-up. My partner, James, and I with backup from a few other teams were to meet with an anonymous informant to learn where the disappearances were taking place, how they were taking place, and why. We had gotten indications that an ancient spirit from the Eastern Asia area, possibly Korea, possibly Japan, possibly some of the islands between. This is why we were called in, because we have been trained to deal with them.

Shalimar is in the hospital

Hey everyone, a good friend of mine and an author here is in the hospital with an infected heel on her foot. Please keep shalimar in your thoughts and prayers. I will keep people updated as I get more updates. She said it is okay to post about it here.

She has diabetes and has lost toes before, and this time she had a shoe that was bad and she didn't know it, so it has the heel on one food pink and smelling bad. Let's hope they can get her taken care of with antibiotics, because we don't want anything worse for her.

Follow along with our hero as he tells the story of a guy (himself) who was brought along for the ride in his girlfriend's mad quest for perfection in costuming in preparation for the masquerade at an anime convention called Otakon. My life is not the same anymore. Four days ago things were different. Just four short days ago my co workers didn’t whisper behind my back. At that time I did not have the head of my entire department sharing personal things about himself and I was not a part of his circle of friends. This might help my career, but it definitely is making life with my coworkers hell. Some of my friends have deserted me, and some of my family wants nothing to do with me. Why did this happen to me? It all started with a costume, an anime convention, and a couple girls who are really into costuming.
