The study uses mice which, obviously, are somewhat different than humyns. Mice active and sleep cycles (they're nocturnal) are probably more 'hard wired' than humyns so eating all the time might disrupt their storage of excess calories more than ours. It's thought that when bodies are used to a daily fast of 12 to 16 hours, excess calories are stored as glycogen and other easier to access molecules rather than fat, which is longer term storage.

The guest said, however, that people have tried time restricted eating and reported favorable results back to the team of researchers. No proof but a possibly hopeful sign.
