When was the last time a company made you feel like you were more than a profit center for them?

These days we deal sometimes daily with Insurance Companies, Utility Companies, and even Retail Stores, who all feel they are doing YOU a favor by letting you buy their product.

What happened to the days of companies trying to earn your patronage with kindness and respect? Why have service oriented businesses stopped offering a real service, and instead treat you like a profit center?

There are very few companies that I'd recommend these days for these reasons. Sure I can tell you the cheapest place to buy a HDD for your laptop is blah, and the cheapest car insurance I've found came from blah blah, but since when did "it's the cheapest" become the most important factor in every equation?

The one company that stands out to me in this respect is one that happens to pay for advertising on this site. Now I will admit that I'm probably quite biased because of their support for BigCloset, but quite honestly, how many other companies care to directly support us?

I've had the chance to talk to Oren and Peter of Prodigal Son Ventures (the owners of The Breast Form Store) and I have to say I'm just astounded by the fact that they manage to operate a business in 2015 while still valuing their customers as more than profit. They operate with the values of a company that existed in the 40's, 50's and 60's. They realize that while COST is an important factor in your purchase, that it's not THE MOST important factor.

As this posting is starting to sound more and more preachy, I'm going to sign off, and suggest you check out The Breast Form Store if you ever happen to be in the need for not just Breast Forms, but also flattering lingerie, makeup, any anything else you may need that they happen to carry. I guarantee you if it's on their website, it's the absolute best quality product they could find or even create themselves.
