I just finished reading LAND OF MY HEART BY Browen Welsh . I feel the need to post that if you have not read this story you need to give it a look .
The story starts with a young boy in Britain called "A Foreign Country" and the adventures there in to becoming a 50's Woman in the Australian out back .
VERY GOOD READ but you must start at the first story. KUDOS to Author .

Ditto .. one of the best stories
Ms. Welsh's heroine in the story, Lesley, is one of the most memorable characters I've found on Big Closet. Nothing x or even r-rated, and nothing overly dramatic either, but in creating such a warm, caring woman and a supporting cast of mainly decent folks makes it such a refreshing read. And as sweet as all this sounds, there's nothing syrupy or cliched in the tale.
In addition the writing is clean and literate. A real joy and I shall miss Lesley and her marvelous life.
