Most authors have unfinished work
An author gets so far with a story and the incredible force which has driven them so far simply departs. With me, I'm always thinking up new story ideas, so that I rarely get to finish any I start.
But with me, I will never post part one of a story until I've written the last line of it, so all my published stories are finished.
A lot of authors don't feel the same way, saying that writing has artistic value, even if it is unfinished.
Me, I wouldn't give Michaelangelo the time of day for his unfinished work!
There is a completed tag which only a few authors use. If more did use it, you could see whether a story was completed before starting to read it.
