So today i wore an old 1960's era USAF rain jacket to school... And promptly had the police on me telling me to never wear the jacket to school again... The jacket is just a elongated raincoat that is a dark blue. I was told that "it looked scary and it looked like i was 'military' and that offended people." Which is BS because it isn't like it is a jacket with high capacity pockets and weapons holsters... Its a damn raincoat/wind breaker!

Thanks "the news" for making large coats into a sign that you are going to kill people.

Yikes. That's pretty extreme

Yikes. That's pretty extreme, even for this day and age. I don't know if you're "out" or are part of some other visible minority, and if they already didn't like you for that reason, which seems the most likely case, but if so, you might be able to give them legal or media trouble over it. A quickly viral story involving a Muslim boy and a clock that was claimed to look like a bomb comes to mind.

Insane!

Our society is going insane!
So it has to be bright yellow? WTF!
Or is that no good too?

If you don't pursue any sort of legal compliant,
I think that you should at least post that more mainstream
(if you haven't already), to make a few people rethink stupidity.

Sheesh!

Most people don't realize it, it was not just the deaths, the terrorists won a huge victory on 9/11.
They wanted to destroy the American way of life, and we are doing it for them out of fear.
People need to wake up and stop this bull.

"Going mainstream"

A local news station has told me they might use the story, but it has been over a week, so we will see how that plays out...

Never surrender!

Thank the "Trench Coat Mafia" for this.

and the Columbine shooters and every other dill weed troublemaker in the movies. Not sure what type of school you're in, high school, college or what, but it seems that way too many administrative types leave their brains and common sense in the parking lot when they go to work.
