I had the strangest dream last night.

I dreamed that I was in Elementary school, and learned that a disease was going to turn me into a girl.

Even though I wanted to be a girl, i was scared in the dream, mostly because I was worried about the pain of the transformation.

Then, the time came, and I didn't transform, and I was devastated.

Ah, well.

had a strange one myself

I had a strange one myself a few nights ago. I dreamed I was sitting somewhere and all these bands kept coming and going from a studio trying to shoot a video for the Brownsville station song Martian Boogie. One after another they came and everybody kept shooting them down. The closest anybody came was a version that sounded more like a version of Hot for teacher by Van Halen covered by Brad Paisley.
Please don't ask me what spurred it or what the symbolism(if any) is. I have absolutely NO clue.

quidquid sum ego, et omnia mea semper; Ego me.

Dreams?

Daphne Xu's picture

Routinely have the back-in-school dreams, where either I'm going to be late (gasp, the horror!) or I realize I've completely blown off a class.

Occasionally have serious nightmares, the ones that caused me to wake up screaming as a child. Still remember the one involving high school, 1984, and a swamp full of poisonous snakes.

Night for strange dreams

I was working on a movie called "The Last Goodbye". My job was to re-write dialog at the director's orders. I was sort of intrigued and sort of annoyed because the movie was based on "The Deep Blue Goodbye" by John D. MacDonald, a book I love. But they had changed it enormously. The hero was a Cuban refugee athlete, hiding from a kidnap squad sent by the Cuban National Track&Field Team. It got complicated. :)

Hugs,
Erin

= Give everyone the benefit of the doubt because certainty is a fragile thing that can be shattered by one overlooked fact.

I had one recently after

I had one recently after writing a tough section for one of my stories. It was life imitating art as I was my own character, John Finn, and I was in class teaching then had to spend hours trying to hide one of my students from the entire student body after her cover was blown. I underwent torture, persuasion by my family, and finally being thrown in jail without ever giving up the student

I'm told STFU more times in a day than most people get told in a lifetime
