Hey Guys, sorry about it taking so long for my story to begin. I've been busy and have had little time to write. Things are settling down now so I should be able to finish the 1st chapter today or tomorrow.

Apologies?

It's quite okay to finish a story later than expected. If you have to apologize about getting it out a day (or week) later than planned, then what must I do about the sequels to "A Bikini Beach Summer" and "John's Living Nightmare"? (My imagination is getting unfortunately bloody here.)

Life Happens

Sometimes things happen beyond our control. It's even hard sometimes to meet our own arbitrary deadlines that we make for ourselves. I'm pretty bad at that myself. But I feel there is a mutual understanding on this site, that the majority of us are writing in our spare time, and have jobs/families that take priority over our hobbies. I wish, as I'm sure others do, that we could all just sit and write 24/7, but then when would we eat?

I say take your time. Enjoy the process. For me, the joy of writing is making characters and stories that I can love as much as my readers do. Sometimes that takes a little extra time too.
