Gee!

Sounds like this could go quite a few different direction. Amazon seems to have it classified as SciFi, however sometimes Amazon classifications seem random if not just plain wrong. Did you choose SciFi or did Amazon just plop it in there for unknown reasons?

Intriguing, "mysterious" blurb anyway. Does that work well as promotion?
The "Gee, wonder where this is going!" method.

I have read this one multiple times over the years

"IF" it is unchanged from the previous online versions then it is clearly in the magic category rather than scifi.

Whatever the reason it was classified as it is *I* rather liked it.

Has some nasty violence but it fits the story well.

The young girl is a remarkable heroine and undergoes a growth, a maturity as a result of the tragedy. She losses so very much but gains in other was. She eventually comes to see it as her second chance.

I hope this means some of your incomplete stories may be completed someday.

I had the opportunity to test read and comment on several of your tales a few years back and still marvel at your skill/creativity.

And I am so happy you are still with us as I know you have had serious health issues.

Still out enjoying golf and your wonderful family?
