Milsy Delay

I regret, once again, that there will be a delay before the next chapter of What Milsy Did is posted.

As I'm going to be away all next week it might not appear until the end of the month.

Two reasons, really: firstly, I have been somewhat occupied lately with Real Life concerns, including the need to rebuild my firewall box because of failing hardware. That didn't work out too well and I'm still trying to get to grips with the several problems I have been left with. Internet access is fine, it is just local access which is the root of the problem.

Secondly, I had written almost 7,000 words of chapter 14 before discovering a major writing error. It was just as well I did spot it, because, while the chapter reads fine, it doesn't flow properly from what happened in #13. I'm going to have to chop it in two - a common occurrence for me - and write the missing halves of the two new chapters.

Thirdly (I was never good at counting) I'm going to be spending all next week in Scotland so won't be able to write - and probably won't have either the time or energy to. There will likely be plenty of thinking time so I can think up future wrinkles and conversations/confrontations.

So, there it is. I'm sorry for the delay, especially as things seem to be getting interesting, but there's only a finite amount of time and energy available.

In other news, I have begun a review of SEE, but I'll give more details in a separate blog entry later this week.

Thank you all for your patience,

Penny

EDIT: It looks like I have been able to retain most of what was to be chapter 14. That being the case, it should be posted by or over the week-end. Thank you all for your patience.

Perfectly acceptable

I too have been away a lot in the past two months, and have two more five day trips arranged before the 19th October.

I do however, have parts of JoB chapters written which will cover the next six months of story time! I just have to weave in the filler bits.

But I confess to looking forward to more Milsy, and more (other) side stories that you might come up with.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Joolz
