Well, it had to happen, after a fairly sensitive article in the Sun, the self-righteous Daily Wail attacked, showing the forces of repression are in fine fettle. Makes the one in the Guardian look wonderful, hell it makes the one in the Sun look good. One Of The Nastiest Pieces of "Journalism" Ever
This really leaves a bad taste in the mouth, but to make it even worse, read the comments and see what kind of lovely people read the rag (Angharad excepted!).
Naturally they quote Zucker with his phony analogies and his "nurture not nature" balderdash. Shades of John Money!!
And, irony of ironies, they sneer at "negotiations with a tabloid newspaper".

No surprises there from that cesspit. The usual bottom-feeder comments as well, and rabid 'red-arrow' treatment for anyone who tries to talk the TG case. In the middle of the green-ink rants is a comment that 'lazy public-sector workers' are targetting small children because they are less work than teenagers.
Edited to add: the line about children with 25-year-old transsexuals...what is the median age for nurses, or doctors? And all the usual conflation with sexuality. Having seen this story in both the Sun (a truly shitty paper) and the giveaway Metro, I see the Hate sneers at a deal with a tabloid newspaper. Two things: firstly, the press in the UK traditionally divides into two, the 'quality' broadsheets and the less elevated tabloids. The tabloids also have, at their lowest level, the redtops, like the Sun. The Hate Mail considers itself a broadsheet in all but physical size. What it means by 'tabloid deal' is simply that they didn't buy the story first, so they are shitting on the child--er, I mean, taking a principled stance to Protect Our Nation's Vulnerable Children.

There are some evil people in this world, and many of them work for the Daily Mail.
Personally, I think it's better to ignore them, rather than giving them credibility by arguing with them.
