Productive Weekend

I had Friday off and apart from a little shopping, buying a new tyre for the car and doing some scribbling, it was a non-event. Okay, I wore a skirt and some makeup for a change - I should have gone for a bike ride but couldn't be bothered.

After nodding off in the chair I started a short story, and two hours later I'd done two thousand words - it sort of wrote itself once I got started - my stuff seems to.

Today, I went for a walk down to my local shops to get my Guardian and I's hoped an apple and custard turnover, no luck again. Yesterday, some woman in front of me in the queue had the last one.

Instead I came home and decided I do an episode of Bonkers, seeing as it's over a year since I did one. Sadly, the young lady I used to write them for seems to have just vanished off the planet along with her mother. I hope they're alright I got quite fond of them and it was always nice to get their feedback.

That was nearly three thousand words but I did nod off in between starting it and finishing it, and my daughter phoned for an hour as well.

Then tonight, my usual serving of Bike, another fourteen hundred words. Altogether, I've done 7731 words, not bad for a weekend - oh not to mention two lines of washing and feeding to ravenous wild animals - okay, Bonz & Whizz. It's all crap of course, but you lot seem to like it.

Well, if it's all crap...

Just keep shoveling it...please! I'm using it as fertizer for my own story garden!

With Apologies to O. Goldsmith and E.J. Thribb

In writing too, Angharad owned her skill,
For e'en though biking, she could write still,
While words of learned length, and thund'ring sound
Amazed the rustics ranged around,
And still they gazed, and still the wonder growed,
That one small head could carry all she composed.

Apologies to Wordsworth.

Then all at once, I had a thought,
I wrote it down, it was but nought.
Got some comments, one in verse
some unlike it were quite terse.
Overall they like my stuff
My own opinion - load of fluff.
And so it seems this website thrills
I'll lie down quietly and take my pills.

Productive fluff

Hello Angharad,

As others have already stated, whatever 'fluff' you write, your band of followers will lap it up as fast as your cats do their milk and food.

I hope the baker has the custard and apple turnover reserved for you in the future.

Thanks for the added stories, they are always much appreciated

Love as always
