About a month ago an Air Boat Captain on a tour with a family wanted to show a alligator up close so he held out a fish to feed the Gator with is illegally low and behold the 9 foot gator jump up and showed to tourist how to bite the hand that feeds you. The gator was found and the hand was found but sadly the captain is now called captain hook.This past Friday he was arrested for illegally feeding the gator with a $1000.00 bond ,talk about wierd justice.

For those who do not know what an airboat is it is a flat bottom boat with a car engine on a high stand with a airplane propeller attached to blow air like a airplane so it can skim over water and swamp at a high rate over speed
P.S. the gator is now a pair of shoe ,a hand bag with matching wallet and a belt

Seriously, the reason its against the law to feed alligators is because if the gator gets used to being fed by humans, he might take humans for food. Small children would be at risk.

Like I was taught when a child*. Let the horse get the sugar cube off the palm of your hand instead of placing it between your fingers that's if you want to keep your fingers.

Perhaps the gator

Got tired of fish fingers.

Why does the poor dumb animal always suffer? Why did they have to kill it, surely there were enough witnesses to say what happened? Instead of fining him, they could have turned him into a handbag and a pair of shoes. Dumb animals always suffer, dumb humans don't.

He was probably charged with feeding the gator his hand and not bait. District attorney could have charged him with attempted suicide for being so stupid instead he will get probation and his hook taken away until he is off probation since it could be considered a weapon that if he has a hook on his hand like an old pirate.

Most Gators in Florida...

get relocated. However if one has bitten a human than it is considered to be a threat. Almost always these threatening Gators have been regularly fed by humans. The dumb air boat driver, I will not give him the honor of Captian as he does not have that title, has probaly been feeding these gators for a long time and he knew the laws.
