Have a great time!
Wandering about is good for the soul.
Sounds like fun but ....
Don't you have to be in Australia for a walkabout?

Be careful, pack wisely, be aware, but enjoy yourself.

Careful!
Don't feed the bears or the sasquatch!

I think the experts recomend wearing bells,
... Good old sleigh bells, a few on the boot laces or something like that. Making noise prevents you from sneaking up on wildlife and getting in trouble.
A good walking staff helps as well. Maybe some bells on the top of it too, dangling on short rawhide laces.
Not sure about bear pepper sprays. If you have to get THAT close.
Absolutely NO food in or near the tent.
Be careful, let people know where you are going and for how long so they know to look when you are overdue.
And don't forget the toilet paper!!!!

Toilet paper
Toilet papers are nonessential items. Use the god given leaves :p
Good luck and have fun on your walkabout, khadija
