Snap, Crackle and Pop?

Printer-friendly version

Snap, crackle and pop may be good sounds to hear in your breakfast cereal, but not so much when its your body making it.

Yesterday, I noticed that my left shoulder makes some ugly noises when I try and rotate the arm, and things only seemed to spread from there.

First it went to my neck, actually causing me pain when I tried to stretch at work, and then my knees started doing it too, almost blinding me with pain.

Thank God for painkillers, but I'd prefer to have not too many days like that if there is a better choice.

Ah, well.

Lack of water may be the answer

One sign of dehydration is muscle pain and pain in the joints. Are you sure you have been getting enough water or that medications you are taking are not drying your body out. You should contact your doctor if this continues nonetheless.

My ideal breakfast

would be attempting to swim away from me. Prawns don't get much fresher than that! ;)

The text above has a peach background. I'm not as pretty as a peach, peaches are as pretty as me. ^_^

Something North Of The Border?

It's not just You Dot. My Bailey's been having the same Cereal/Serial? problem. Come to think of it, I've had it too!;0

Getting back to work is a blessing and a curse. My body's letting me know way too well that it doesn't like being idle and that it's getting older. My spirit's still telling me I'm about nineteen though.;)

Yes, Snap, Crackle and Pop!

It is a way of life for those of us who have never been this old before, and will never be this young again. In my case, I have Rice Krispy Knees.

Yep!

Gonna have to echo the sentiments above. My wife commented on how loud my joints pop in the morning. I've gotten used to it.

Please see a physician about this. It may be lessened with acupuncture, chiropractor http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiropractor and medicine

At a former congregation

At this congregation was this lady that was over 80 at the time. She said to me, " It is no fun getting old." I responded, "The other choice is worse." Both are true.
