I have been fascinated by fossils from the time I was a wee lass. When I lived in Colorado and I was able to collect many Bivalve and several small fish and ferns. But it was the understanding of how these creatures fit into the web of life during there time. I went on to study Oceanography and environmental sciences. I would like to research the location you were at today.

... we didn't plan it better. It's nice day today and we're only a couple of hundred miles apart. We could have met half way for a spot of lunch before riding back home again. With more planning we could have involved Bev and Steph and all had a decent ride :)

You know, once upon a time I was almost fit enough to do just that even though it would, even then, have been a long day LOL

Don't worry. Remember 'Bike' isn't a duty; it's amusement for you and a treat for us.

More seriously, glad you've managed to add to your collection. Though, on the rain thing... Perhaps you should notify your local weather service the next time you take a week of, so they can adjust their forecasts...
