Jeph states in the commentary that he'd wanted to add a 'trans person' for years. One of the things I love about QC is it's inclusivity so I'm feeling pretty confident he'll treat the matter with sensitivity. I'm sure he can make Claire at times funny, sometimes a jerk (even Marten's a jerk sometimes), sometimes awkward in the every day way and always believable.

I bought a T-shirt from Jeph years ago, it has a rainbow and LGBTriffic as the slogan, he writes a very cool comic.
for those not familiar with QC, Jeph is always drawing odd slogans on characters t-shirts, and when he gets a lot of comments or requests he has some T-shirts printed up to go on sale, hence the origin of the T that i knew i had to have.
i've blown a few minds over the years, as some oldies just can't deal with the answer to their question "what does your t-shirt mean?" LOL

I love this comic. I have read the whole thing through at least 12 times and I laugh my ass off each time. It never gets old and it's updated regularly. I love that.
