I was reading our local weekly paper, and noticed a letter to the editor commenting about the picture of the High School Prom King and Queen.

Prom King and Queen

It mentioned that the picture was in last weeks paper, so I dug it out of the pile of old papers and found this.

Curiosity, since there was no information about why the Prom King was female, I went searching and found this.

PS. No the letter to the editor wasn't positive.

Is it just me, or does the

Is it just me, or does the Prom Queen look like she is in her mid to late twenties? She looks about 10 years older then Diamond

As for Diamond, I say good. and honestly, I could have never known, if I hadn't read the article. I mean, she really looks like a teen boy, with that haircut. But very good for her friends for having her back in this.

I am wondering if

The Prom king will choose to live as a man, or if this was simply having fun?

Probably not...

"Just being the first girl to ever accomplish something like that at your school, and your school allowing you to do it, it felt pretty good."

She identifies herself as female throughout the article, and identifies herself as a lesbian as well.

Walker is openly gay, but she says it's not about that.

"Be a little more open-minded and accept people for it, and not base your gender for what you can or cannot do."

I doubt it

She was on the Girl's Basketball team, and I think the softball team too.
