Too tired to post photos tonight, but I have a few.

Here's one of some inventive cosplayers:

The World's Finest

I'm so glad you had a great time and am back safe and sound. Just got finished watching some Comic-con clips in particular the announcement of Supes and Batman being in the next film. The crowd was very enthusiastic. :) Even I who didn't much the darker gloomy Superman would find it hard not to at least go see.

A lot of the cos-play costumes really were great. I saw one of Joker and Harly with Joker Jr in his Joker-In-The-Box baby carriage that was real cute.

Here's some more photos from SDCC2013:

That's Gold from the Metal Men. I'm acquainted with the guy in the costume but for the life of me, I can't remember his name at the moment. He helps run Prism which is an LGBT friendly publishing company. First time I've ever seen one of the Metal Men at the con, though he tells me that they had the whole crew for Wondercon back in April. I'll bet someone thought Doc Magnus was Doctor Who. :)

Like the Jetsons, this is the first time I've ever seen Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law at the con. Don't remember if the woman in the picture is a character from the show. This is a great characterization as the cosplayer's fatuous expression is perfect for the image.

And a gender-bending Beetlejuice was a first sighting for me. She does look cute. Last year, there was a whole distaff version of the Justice League accompanied with a hairy-legged Wonder Warrior. LOL.

The number of cosplayers was way up if you count people just wearing masks. My pictures of Submariner and Human Torch did not come out, I probably hit the wrong buttons but those guys had good costumes and were accompanied by a Captain America movie-inspired cosplayer to make up cool set of The Invaders.

Another picture that did not come out was of a little girl wearing a Spider-Man tunic and a tutu. :) One of three I spotted at the con, and lots of little guys dressed as Spidey, too.

Harley Quinn was the most popular costume for women, followed by generalized Steampunkette, followed by Poison Ivy and Batgirl. Lots of anime inspired costumes, too. Several girls dressed as Robin, even one as the Damian Wayne version.

I had a great time and my shoes came apart, so you know how much walking I did. :)

Hugs,
Erin

= Give everyone the benefit of the doubt because certainty is a fragile thing that can be shattered by one overlooked fact.

Character from the show

The woman next to Harvey Birdman is Birdgirl, who is definitely not secretly Phil Ken Sebben's daughter Judy.
