and Uniforms

As 'Uniforms' is a short piece, only about 15,000 words, I have bulked it up with some of my shorter pieces such as 'Sunlight and Shade'. The next one up should be 'Cold Feet', of course, but that is a much, much longer book, and I am proofing and formatting steadily

yay

Isn't Amazon great.

If you don't mind me asking, where all do you announce your books for sale and would you mind sharing?

Announcements

There is a 'meet the authors' forum on Amazon, and I have put up a blurb there (it is what it is for). I have also announced the sales on my cycling forum, who have complained quietly that my new cycle touring book has been delayed.

One amusing anecdote: I was writing/formatting my real life ride along the French Mediterranean coast for the factual book, whilst formatting 'Sunlight and Shade', which follows exactly the same route. Write what you know, and all that. Very, very confusing.

Oh, for anyone who does buy my books: the cover photos are my own. The first is a rummage cap (quilted on top for protection as opposed to simple fabric). The second is a view of Gibraltar from the top of the cable car, looking along the rock to Spain. The third is from the hairpins above Les Baux de Provence, just below the point where Sandy and, well, me, a few years earlier, were given "chapeau!" by a French racing cyclist.
