Labyrinth had its moments, but for me nothing can beat the 'waltzing dress' scene from Ridley Scott's Legend.

It is sheer cinematic perfection.

What a pity that the rest of the movie was such unadulterated garbage.

According to You Tube the score on this clip (composed by Jerry Goldsmith) was only on the version released in Europe. Tangerine Dream performed the music for the US version. Having watched both, I think Goldsmith's score is far, far superior.

(Anyone who remembers the hideous kuzkardesh gara from 'The House In The Hollow', this is where they came from)

It has long

been said that US audiences got rifted as for as Legend was concerned. :)

But then there are just so many great scenes in those movies.
That is one of the best though.

The Final Programme

No one comes close to Jerry Cornelius, though. He travels the multiverse desperately searching for a fantasy that won't let him down.

Oh, and if any of you remember Yvette de Monnier...

Ban nothing. Question everything.

I really enjoyed "Stardust"

Especially the flying lightening ship with Robert DeNero waltzing in a dress. Arrrg! Sorry I don't have a link.

I remember having to walk away...

During the scene after that when I first saw the movie when younger... It was just destroying me knowing I could never have the things she so took for granted like that.

I'm "too old" now and totally missed out on what should have been my girliest years.

Abigail Drew.

The Princess Bride

The sword fight between Inigo Montoya and the Dread Pirate Roberts. Words do not exist in this or any other language to describe how much I love that scene.

Fave

Dark crystal:

The gelflings are forced off a cliff and kira glides the to the ground with her fairy wings.
I forget the male gelfling's name says to her i dont have wings and she laughs and says of course not silly! You're a boy.

Best line ever
