Happy

whatever the day it was! :)
Grover

Birthday, Grover,

Ole Ulfson's picture

I've enjoyed every day of every year. Not to say I wouldn't change some things, but all we can really do is make the best of what we have, and try to make changes that won't hurt others.

Thanks, Grover,

Ole

Oh, my...

Best wishes on the occasion. Didn't think ladies talked about their ages... High School Year book photos... Dangerous. That's a whole lot nicer than mine (or my College photo...)

Annette

I've lived my age with pride, Annette,

Ole Ulfson's picture

And only one regret, so I'll focus on the pride. Thank you so much for writing. I'll bet you were beautiful in your yearbook photos. At least thinking back through the rosy light of years, I was too. It's our life, we can remember it however we want! (stamps foot)

Thank you,

Ole

My uni photo...

My uni photo - had a goatee. I looked quite evil. High School... The ones in the year book... Not so nice... (though, I'd not complain to be in the physical condition I was back then. LOL Amazing what 7k yards a day swimming will do).

Annette

Thank you Andrea,

Ole Ulfson's picture

for remembering and for saying it the special way you did.

Mange Tak! Tusen Tak!!!

You really are a sweetheart and I really appreciate the thought more because it comes from you. No folks, I'm not flirting! I consider Dorothy a special friend, and anyway, she's way too young for me. I'll email you soon, OK?

964?

Happy Birthday! Please tell me that is a typo, because no one wants to be told they are over a 1000 years old :P

I Remember It Well

littlerocksilver's picture

We were doing the catering. That was during last great warm up. That was when Lief, Ole, and I decided to call the world's largest island Greenland. Who knows, it might be green again soon.

Portia

I remember too, Portia,

Ole Ulfson's picture

We convinced all those settlers to move to what should have been named Ice Island or Barren Land.

Ah, those were the days...

I'm beginning to think

There are a lot of young readers here at BC. Happy birthday friend and many more, Arecee

Thanks, Arecee,

Ole Ulfson's picture

Let's hope all we young folks can stick together. You're only as young as you feel and I'm feeling younger every day.

I must clarify the picture Andrea found in my årbog...

Ole Ulfson's picture

This was an all boy's school and I was chosen to play a Shield Maiden in the 201st annual Happy Lindisfarne Festival. I'm told the Monks on Lindisfarne don't celebrate this holiday...

Ole, of course, is short for Olaf, but after I won the June contest the boys started calling me Dagmar (roughly DOWmar) and insisting that I wear my costume on weekends. My girlfriend and later wife, Agnette (OUWnitta) loved it and made it a public and private part of our lives together. She made sure I wasn't a "Maiden" for long.
