I'm in the final stages of prepping my collective book for sending to Katie to make sure it'll work as a Kindle eBook. In fact, give me another hour and the final rewrite of the final story will be complete!

On the other hand, there is one thing I need for it that I still don't have yet...

The cover.

I've decided on the title "Josie's Con Stories And Other Tales," but the cover design I want for it is based on "The Voice On The Line," consisting of a bouquet of yellow roses lying on a set of steps next to a cane.

Give me a week and I can mock it up between MS Paint and buying the roses, but I was just wondering if anyone here might have other ideas, or even photos they could potentially toss out there as alternatives?

I don't want to have to pay for anything this time 'round if I can help it, hence going the low-rent route (I can give the roses away once I'm done) rather than purchasing a stock photo or paying someone to design my cover.

What can I say, I'm cheap.

I'm glad that you decided on that idea.....

And I would be more than happy to see if I can snap a photo if you want to go that way. The roses are relatively easy, and I think that I can borrow a cane from someone for a short time.

Let me know if you want me to see what I can do sis!
