I have been asked by a number of readers about continuing We Shall Fight Them On The Beaches.

http://bigclosetr.us/topshelf/book/31806/we-shall-fight-beaches

The story is about 2 years old and at the time, I was having personal issues which I won't bore you with and those issues sort of stopped me from continuing it.

I feel that I am now able to re start it, if you feel that I should.

An obvious problem if I do continue is that many of you would not remember the story and would have to go back and read it again if, like me, you have a poor memory.

Anyway, please let me know what you think.

Hugs
Sue

Yes please

Firstly, I enjoy everything you write and, secondly, re-reading the previous parts is no hardship.

Continuance

You will NEVER hear "Please DON'T continue this" from me, on anything. Anytime I see new material I usually re-read the whole piece anyway, to set the mood if nothing else.

Please Do Continue

I have been waiting for quite a while for you restart this interesting, 'dark' tale.

Always

Always continue a good story , Maybe re-post the first chapters with a disclaimer about staring anew THANK YOU so much for writing & posting

Reposting probably isn't a

Reposting probably isn't a bad idea anyway. After two years away from the story, there's almost certain to be at least a small amount of editing done to fix 'obvious errors'. (*No, NO, what was I thinking, making the octopoi puce! They should have been mauve!*)

It will also do a couple of other things.

1) Allow the author to pick up the flow of the story again.
2) Give a 'gap' period to build up new material for posting.

I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.

Yes please!

I really enjoyed the first bits, and rereading to get current... Sooo not a problem with your writing.

Continue!

I may have to go back and reread portions but I still remember the story. Let's get it back in publication!

Quality takes Time

Creation moves at its own pace. It just taken some time before the creation cycle moves to where it wants to go. Now again it is asking for your attention so go with the flow.

I would love to see more of this story.

I very nearly...

opened and replied yes without looking at your post. You are one of a handful of writers who I will read anything from, your writing is that good (to me, at least).

Then I went and searched the story, and said "Oh, yeah, I think about this one from time to time. I's certainly want to see more of this one."

So an unabashed yes on both fronts.

Shameless Hussy!

We would have to go back and read it again! Thus doubling your kudos, reads and comments, although not really because I'm sure I commented the first time around and I certainly would have given you one o' them kudo thingies.

Actually I have been hanging by my fingernails waiting for you to continue. I thought maybe you didn't like it and had decided to devote your talents to more amenable projects. I felt it was a lovely theme and with the kids travelling across occupied Britain outwitting the Nazis had lots of scope for adventures and misadventures particularly for our cross-dressed heroine (hero?)

If my vote counts, PLEASE DO IT!

Joanne

I had been wondering

Yes, please do continue should you so desire. I think that your writing is so good, I would read it off the bottom of a shoe. :)

Continue Please

Just another vote to continue the story. As one who was 13 in 1942 (but in the safe surroundings of the USA), I relate closely with this story. Keep it up.

I have to say that I must

I have to say that I must need to be in bed.

I read that as "As one who was 13 in 1492" --- and thought that you must be well preserved.

Yeesh.

I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.

Please, please, please with sugar on top ...

Please absolutely yes please finish it. It is a wonderful and I was puzzled why you hadn't finished it. So, again please do finish it.Please, please, please. .. (think I want you to finish it? You betcha I do!)
