Back at it.

Well it's been six weeks since I pulled the ligaments in my ankle and I decided to try to go back to dance class today to see how it would go. My ankle twinged a few times but I was careful to take breaks if I thought I was overdoing it and I was really happy that I had no issues doing a new dance we were learning to the music of Frank Sinatra's "It Had to Be You". The dance called for a lot of fancy footwork and I was able to get through it no problem though that was the second dance we did and I took a break immediately after to make sure I wasn't putting too much strain on it. My ankle is a little stiff and tender now but not as bad as I thought it would be so I think limited work on it should be okay until it's feeling 100% again.

In other news I am nearly ready to post chapter 2 of Syryns Song and I have a chapter of Winter's Child and Twice Removed on the go and am nearly finished another new Hyperverse story.

So it's been a couple pretty awesome days and I thought I would share.

*big hugs to you all*

Damaged ankles are not fun

Badly sprained mine one time and was hobbling for about 3 months.

No fun if one drives a manual transmission.

Yeah no fun at all

It's been driving me crazy not being able to get out much or dance, but at least I've been productive :)

I'm planning on still taking it easy for the most part until I feel it's at a hundred percent but light exercise (dancing) should be okay if I don't overdo it and wear sneakers rather than my usual dancing shoes with the heels. Martin won't let me overdo it anyway, anytime I need something and he's home he gets it for me rather than letting me risk re-injuring it by going up and down the stairs all the time.

Don't take me too seriously. I'm just kitten around. :3
