Recently I came across the scariest webtoon of my life while looking for information of ghosts that inhabit the internet. I don't mean the movie. I came across this, which didn't look scary at first, but watch out, read the disclaimer. It almost made me, who cannot be scared off by ghost stories scream in fear. Well, to tell the truth, I did scream like a little girl.

To tell the truth, the first time I read it, I flew back from my seat screaming until my head hit the door. I didn't know a website could be programmed like that.
Got surprised
The animation was not as startling as the sudden sound.
For your room and computer to go from faint fan noises (IE near silent) to jaw nashing as I scrolled down.
That is what startled me the most.
But, if you were really "Scared" by that then your tolerance is way to low for the more serious (Asian) horror stuff I found in the last year.
An example; I had to hunt for is a copy of 'Mad Father' in English. The story of a young girl getting hunted and attacked by zombies and ghost posed dolls. And the fact in my opinion the "good" ending is the worst in main ways, is scary in a different way.

Don't know what it means. But you were supposed to scroll down, reading it like you would read a normal webtoon. The scare comes after that.
I had to pound on my chest...
...to get my heart started again. And I'm about 90% certain I lost control of my bodily fluids the first time that figure turned around.

That the first surge sat me back a little there. Then like a junkie hunting for a fix, I just had to see what happened next. I agree that the sudden noise was the real shocker there. Kinda neat in my opinion but then again, I like jump out at you from nowhere horror stuff most of the time. Sheesh, I just let one of my deep dark secrets out... lol.

I handled the whole turning around thing just fine. What scared the hell out of me and made me jump was that just after I read the "SHE'S NOT HERE!" part my computer chose that moment to crash to the blue memory dump screen and make this horrible grinding sound it hasn't made before that made me think of growling. I'm actually surprised I was able to boot the OS again after that.
Seriously, my heart is still pounding, that scared the living crap out of me.

That's not supposed to happen. It was just html... or was I wrong about that? Pretty sure there's no flash in there. Now flash, that's something that totally wrecks the browser.

It scared the crap out of me. My laptop has been crashing a lot lately so it was probably the just the worst possible timing for something that was about to happen anyway. The timing of it and the sound it made scared me so bad I had an anxiety attack though.
