Though I have received some wonderful support for my writing and my stories, there have been some requests from a few readers for more accessible content from me. I realized that some of the readers here are turned away by explicit content. Therefore, I posted Part 1 of an abridged, “made for BC” version of my current story, called Amber Light.

This version removes the explicit fetish content found in the original Amber story while also maintaining the spirit of the story and its characters. I hope that some of you will find it an enjoyable read and can experience Amber’s world. I still rated it Adult for some adult content, language, and sexual scenes.

Finally, thank you to everyone who has given me support and helped me become a better writer. I truly appreciate it.

I've been reading this both

I've been reading this both here and at TGstorytime. At first I was confused but then it made sense why you made Light. I look forward to more of Amber.

More Amber

Sorry for any confusion. I have received a few messages from readers hoping that the original story will continue as planned. But not to worry, Amber Light will not affect the original tale's progression. Amber's story will be told until I am banned from the internet, injured, jailed, or dead. In that order. ;)

Also, Amber Light will be caught up to the original soon since Part 2 of the original had much less explicit content, and Part 3 will have none. So, once Amber Light Part 2 is out, readers of both stories will be able to follow the original safely. Then when I'm done with Part 3 of Amber: In the HOC, I'll release Amber Light 3 for consistency.

Hope that clears things up! And thanks for following along!

I understand both viewpoints

I can see how the abuse he/she suffers was hard to read for some. I skimmed it a bit at first.

Yet it is in keeping with her story. How the hard times, the forced depravity and cruelty toughen/prepare her for a different but important life.

Much like a bizarre boot camp she is coming out different yet somehow still herself, her kindness and inquisitive nature undamaged.

Do write more of both versions.

I am eager to see if and how she gets justice and if she can redeem her tormentors. The title has long implied this but we have seen just hints of the means she will use to achieve this, you sneeky writter.

Both will continue for now.

Even I admit the abuse in the early part of the story was over the top, but it started off as a different kind of story back then. It has grown to become so much more. If I did a complete rewrite, I would certainly tone it down, and it would probably fall somewhere in the middle. But I don't expect that to happen soon. I want to move forward right now. Maybe when I have a few more stories set in this universe, I'll merge the two, and find a good balance.

Having her go through hardship and come out as strong as she is was certainly a driving point for her and the story, but it was also setting the stage for some other characters to develop too (and illustrate what's happening beneath the surface).

Yes, justice and redemption are themes for the story too, especially as we move into the mid and later chapters, but I won't talk specifics here as there may be new readers viewing this. All I will say is that there are a few characters that could stand some rehabilitation/redemption/justice, and for at least some of those characters, it's coming very soon. ;)
