It's not his singing, I actually like his version of the song.
It's the video. I keep thinking that someone in Germany was drunk/high/both and decided to try and emulate Terry Gilliam as if he'd made the video. And failed. Badly.

Well the video was hard to watch.
But he does the song justice. Which is all I care about anyways.

okay, all things considered,
the singing was fine. I didn't realize that The Hoff COULD sing! The backing vocals were really nice. The green screen stuff? Wellll... I can't say enough about them..... BAD that is!
The backing vocals had a Beach Boys flavor, to me. I have to wonder if Brian Wilson had a hand in constructing the harmonies.
All in all, not so bad. Hey, at least we didn't have to see a drunken Hoff trying to eat a burger and failing miserably.
