Can I ask if anyone else is having problems with pictures in stories. This past two weeks I only get about half the pictures to show when I open stories up. This happen about a year ago and I know I have not made any changes to my computer when this started a couple of weeks ago. Richard

More info needed

Which stories, when does it happen, what ISP, browser and OS are involved... and has anyone else seen this happening?

Most of the pictures displayed on BC are stored in our own space, duplicated in the cloud to make them serve quickly anywhere in the world. But, and this is especially true of some older stories, some people have not uploaded the images they are using and are referring to images stored elsewhere. Not a lot we can do about it when those images disappear from their original sources.

When I open Bike her mouse picture does not show, I reading Death Own Daughter (here I only get about half of the pictures there) I use Windows 7, ISP Coxs Cable, Explorer (which I am having problems and MS has not found the reason for it)

My basic advice is as

My basic advice is as follows:

  1. Empty your Cache in IE
  2. Remove/Dissable ALL your Browser extensions (especially any AdBlock or AntiVirus extensions)
  3. Try using Google Chrome (preferrably) or Mozilla FireFox
  4. Right click on one of the broken images, select properties, and paste the URL either in a reply to this comment or in a PM to me so I can see if it's being redirected at all.

Just a new bit of info, it looks like WolfJess has at some point, deleted several images, that affect chapters 1-9 of Death's Own Daughter, but every chapter after that seems to be fine.
