Just got set up in England on my laptop, and suddenly all hell breaks loose.
Seems some iPhone pictures were downloaded to a DVD that has infected my computer now.
This site now has weird adverts for news stories, stories from some place called BWNToday.
Is this a new service for this site, or is this some infection on my laptop?

We have very few ads on BC right at the moment and none for news stories on such a site.

I just called up BCTS on my kindle.
No news feeds here.
So my laptop is infected.
Bugger.

Are you running windows and if you are go to system backup and do a restore to a previous system setting point before this started and it will probably fix it. But to make sure after doing this run an anti-virus scan such as mcafee to ensure it is gone.

It's a damned Yahoo continuing news feed for kids. Don't ask me how to get out of it but it's not an infection. It may be an RS feed.

...I hope.
There are no Windows machines here, as you are well aware. This means that I am very much less likely to have passed anything like that on to you.
However, there are beasties which can get in via HTML and Javascript backdoors so I will have a snoop around and see if I can find anything.
Perhaps you needed a dranakh to guard your laptop...
