I was really hoping to have a chapter of Apocalypse Dawn to post tonight but between fighting writer's block since Saturday, having extra shifts this week, and now having a colossal migraine that will not go away, it's just not happening. Hopefully I can shake it and the writer's block off before my one day off on Sunday so I can at least get Snow Angel out on schedule.
Today is going to be the start of what will hopefully become my new posting schedule on BCTS. Starting today I'm going to try to get into a set schedule where I would be posting Freedom of Naethari and The Faerie Blade one weekend, followed by Apocalypse Dawn on Tuesdays every second week. On the alternating weeks it would be Snow Angel and later something else on the weekend as well, followed by I Wish on Tuesdays until I Wish is completed.
I was hoping to get back into a regular posting schedule by now. even if it was bi-weekly instead of weekly. That plan kinda went tits up with the new job keeping me so damn busy and catching a terrible cold twice in the last month . My immune system sucks, and while I have people making sure I'm taking care of myself and taking vitamins, I can't wait until I can get my medical stuff for Ontario sorted so I can see a doctor about my hormones and anxiety meds. Work has kind of been stressing me out and pushing my anxiety so it might be contributing to things.
As much as I was hoping to have the new Apocalypse Dawn chapter posted yesterday or even today it doesn't look like that's gonna happen. Between being busy and just having a spectacularly shitty week in general I probably won't have AD posted until tomorrow and I Wish until Thursday. Hopefully my appointment downtown tomorrow won't take too long and I can get stuff finished and posted at a decent hour.
I'm not really very good at this sort of thing. I hate asking for help and this is not easy for me. As some of you may know I've been stuck living with my ex and his family since he broke up with me last year because I really have nowhere else to go. The situation has been growing increasingly more toxic and has contributed to a lot of my depression and anxiety of late. The fact that I can't get my prescriptions, hormones or even a doctor here in Quebec has made everything worse.
I've been concerned about how I can't seem to shake this cough or tiredness, so I went to the walk-in clinic today and it seems that I have bronchitis again. So I'm on bedrest and antibiotics, and I'm hoping that the latter will help things along.
I thought that I would pop on, try to update y'all, and post a chapter of Snow Angel while I have the energy to be out of bed for a bit. This cold really is hanging on and I'm still feeling super tired and having trouble shaking the cough but at least I felt up to getting out of bed today. I still need my rest and likely won't be getting much work done until I have more energy but I seem to be on the mend so I wanted to let my readers know what's happening so I don't worry anyone.
Wow. I guess I really am a blonde bimbo after all. All those jokes that I've made about dying my hair wild colors being artificial intelligence are true. That or I was distracted by something reaaally shiny at the time. It only took me damn near twelve years but I finally realized something.
So, as some of you may have seen on my Patreon page, late last week I started on something new to help me sleep at night and keep the nightmares at bay. The good news is it's been mostly working pretty well. I'm getting sleep and I haven't had too many bad nightmares and unlike the anti-anxiety drugs I was given a while back I can wake up if I need to.
Just a quick update to let you all know that I'm still not feeling so great with this cold that's hanging on and the personal stuff but I have been trying to work on some writing when I have the energy. It's going a lot slower than I would like but I am hoping to get chapters posted this week even if they're a bit late. I'm going to try my best and I'm making slow progress on a chapter of Apocalypse Dawn so hopefully, I'll at least get that done. We'll see how it goes.

Whether other chapters are late will depend on how fast I can catch up while I've got this cold dragging me down.
No, I'm not being conceited. This heat wave has not been kind to me and since Thursday I've been feeling tired, nauseous, not thinking clearly, and just generally feeling terrible. As a result I wasn't able to post the new chapter of Cold Fey to my Patreon. I pushed through and got it posted a day and a half late but just ended up feeling worse. Well, apparently I have a mild case of heatstroke so I'm supposed to be resting, drinking lots of fluids, and doing my best to keep cool. That last one is a bit of a pain in the ass but I'm managing okay, I think.
the universe makes it abundantly clear that it has it in for you. I had that moment last night. After a fantastically shitty day where everything bad that could happen did happen my word processor decided to crash mid-writing session. Then, at the very second that I screamed to the heavens, "Why can't anything ever go right for me!" that is when the universe delivered the coup de grace by having winblows give me the blue screen of death and shut down, oh and then I broke a nail.
Hey everyone, lots going on right now with me. First, I got the new laptop all set up and I'm working on writing or re-writing chapters since the hard drive from the old comp was toast. I posted chapter five of Cold Fey today to give you all a little something until I have more to post and I'll hopefully have chapter 11 ready to post on my Patreon tomorrow. I did write a short called Dude! that I posted on Patreon for now, for those who follow me there.
Since Erin wished all of us Canadians a happy Canada Day a few days ago, I thought turnabout was fair play so Happy 4th of July to all of our Americans on BCTS. I hope you all enjoy your day.
Well, it finally happened. I've been doing everything I can to keep my computer alive for the past few months, but I can do no more and this morning it finally breathed it's last grinding breath. Since I can't really hunch over my tablet (like I'm doing now,) squinting at the screen and typing on a tiny bluetooth keyboard for 6 to 8 hours a day to be productive I had to get a new-ish laptop.
Just a warning that the last chapter of I Wish Book 4 may not be posted tomorrow like I was hoping. I've had a lot on my mind the past few days and it's been screwing with my head and making it hard to focus on writing.
