Mainly massive multiparts

Just an observation which might end up seeming like a complaint;

I sometimes feel lost here, in the sense of "dying of thirst when water is all around".

I visit daily looking for an interesting story (I admit, I like the fluffier stuff), but I wonder sometimes how any new person visiting this site can get started when virtually everything on the front page is just a chapter in some huge novel.

Thanks for the reads!

I really do not worry or wonder much about number of reads on stories I post here and elsewhere, but if the data is easily available, like it is here, I do check it out sometimes.

Looking at the numbers once in a while here in the last year, I've noticed that my two stories' readership is (in my eyes) amazing, and the reads per day can be insane; sometimes none, regularly one or two, sometimes almost a dozen (whaaaat!?) reads in a day. Holy s*&t !!!

(Most of) My house is finally finished!!

I know this is hopelessly off topic, but...

A year and a half ago, at just a hair over 40, I ended my adult lifetime of apartment dwelling and bought a very cheap rather small house.

I started renovations right away; had my tenant move out (I shared the whole house with him,our own bedrooms, but other than that, totally sharing).

Here's what all got done (if anybody is even remotely interested);
