First of all. Thank you to everybody for the love and support, I love you all. So my appointment was today, and it was not what I expected.

The demons came last night. Its been awhile since I've had a really bad nightmare. I don't get much sleep and wake up three to four times a night.

At about this time 365 days ago I created a profile here. I had been lurking for years and had even been around when old big closet existed.

The first and probably only cold snap has hit South Texas. So we get our winter this year, according to extended forecasts this should last into the first part of January, but I'm skeptical.

Well today is the first day at the new store. Its a new (store) format that the company has rolled out. I'm really excited to begin this new phase of my employment.

Holy sh*t it happened.

Ok folks this retail monkey needed a laugh today and got it. Read today's Skin Horse that last panel says it all. We are all hands on deck here at the store and smart phones are flying out the door.

What am I thankful for? Easy answers right, maybe not. The standard stuff applies here I have my family, my job, the roof over my head, but I am also very thankful for friends.

Ok, so yesterday I passed another year. I am now the age that Douglas Adams postulated as the answer to that very big question in the title of this here blog.

Ok folks so I haven't been reading much or commenting and I'm sorry. Work is still the same, absolutely no changes. But that's not what this is about. What is it about you ask?

My grandfather taught me a valuable lesson when I was a kid this is back when black and white TVs sere common and cable didn't exist.

Ok so when you folks get tired of me talking tell me. I can rattle off at the mouth or fingers as it were but I did have to share some stuff today.

Work thing this week. Alright last week was super crappy. This week is ok.

Ok here is an update on the work situation that happened to me this last week.

Ok, folks I need your help and opinions on something that happened at work. I need to know if I am being overly sensitive because of my gender issues or do I have a valid complaint.

Ok I blogged about my job situation and the challenges I have faced there last week. Things just keep going downhill and my employer does seem to want to get rid of all the old hands.

Launch day is over. No horrible drama it was stressful but not nearly as much as last year with the 4s. Probably because all those folks that got the 4s are still in a contract.
