I am nearly done with the next bit of writing. I am about halfway done with a new Journey chapter, getting close to finished with Tea with a Serpent and am doing a good bit of editing. I am kind of sad that no other stories are firing at the moment, but that is okay. I'll get to them. I am looking forward to ending 300 Rains and a few other stories.

I am planning on getting a few more things worked on over break. This should help those who have been missing my writing. I am not sure which story is next on my list but something is going to be worked on and uploaded.

Okay... I am still moving and stuff. The semester has been pretty intense and class has been pretty intense. Thinking I was going to fail two classes can do that to you. I managed to pull off an A and a B in the two classes, so I clearly don't suck at the school thing. My GPA is really decent and that was a nice relief. Having a Grad school mentality with Undergrad classes can be problematic. ;)

Well, classes are over for the semester. That is a great relief as two classes I was taking gave me an incredible level of stress that totally sapped my creative juices. The good news is that I have a month to catch up on writing before new classes start. So I aim to have new 300 Rains, new The Journey is the Destination and hopefully some Whateley. That will be nice if I can pull that off.

But no more classes at the moment! Whee!

I got my passport and it is all official and everything! I finally have the correct gender marker and everything! Woot!!

The only confusing thing is that it seems to only be valid for two years. This is irritating and I am not pleased with this. So I am going to call them on Monday and ask for clarification. So that is a touch irritating.

But YAY!!

School has been keeping me pretty focused and that has gotten in the way of my writing. Not a fan of that. Just how annoying do things have to be? Really? I just want to write some in order to relax, as that helps me out a lot more than most any other type of stress relief. Granted I am a weird dork for that but I am fairly okay with that.

For those who have been following the numbers, I have finished the Tegan story. While it is only 160 pages and 56.7k words it was difficult to write for a number of reasons. But its completion means I can get back to other things that I want to finish. Now I can do more 300 Rains, Journey is the Destination, Whateley, Kim Possible and other fun stuff that is out there like Chalice and the Wand. The editing phase of this will take a bit but not be as time consumptive as the writing nor as problematic. So I am really excited to be finished.

Okay... lots of progress today. I wrote 13 pages today on the Tegan story I have been working on. So it is at 150 pages and 52+k words. Yay! That means I can soon get to other things in the near future. And once the edits are done I can get to selling it. Whee! Here's hoping that it goes well.

My dog, who I have had for almost 16 years (short by 2 mo), was put to sleep today. She was old, had trouble walking, fell over occasionally, had trouble going up and down stairs. It hurts. It hurts a lot. I have been crying over it for the last several days. This has been really difficult to deal with. So, I wanted to let you all know, because I will be out of it for a while.

Oops... I said I was going to ave a 300 Rains chapter ready for Sunday and here it is Friday and no Chapter. Well, life and school has been crazy and the edits have not been really high on my list of tasks. I fully intend to get to it and I will post it as soon as it is done regardless of the day.

The big thing holding me up in terms of several other stories is near the end of the first draft. I have three chapters left, maybe more, but the end is right there. I can finish that fairly soon and that will be great. Then I can write other stuff as I edit that, which will let me feel like I am back to writing again. Whee!

So I attempted to go to class today as I missed last Thursday and Last Tuesday, one to a migraine and one to this illness. Chi Gung, which is more meditative and has only a few actual moves actually wiped me out. So as I was panting on my way to Tai Chi, my teacher stopped me, asked how I was and sent me home. That was sweet of her.

I came home, slept and have rested quite a bit. It seems to have helped. My hopes is that I can be fine tomorrow and I will be over this. This sucked so much.

I hate being sick. I got the plague. Not the actual plague because I got vaccinated for that, but rather whatever cold variant is floating around the area. I missed class for two days, which is not acceptable and I am against that. I feel run over and it is hard to focus, which gets in the way of homework. Blech...

Of course the lack of focus also means no writing as I just want to lie here and have people or things entertain me. Maybe I need to get a dancing monkey or two... oh... Jungle Book might work for that. Sorry, random...

Just to let everyone know, I finished the next chapter of 300 Rains. I still have to go through and edit it, but basically it is done. So that means next Sunday, the usual 300 Rains posting day you all get a new chapter. I would be able to get it to you tonight but I have homework to do. Sorry folks.

So, I wanted to work on 300 Rains and lo and behold the file is massively corrupted. Thankfully, this site had all the chapters and in good form. Thus I was able to spend a good deal of time to copy and paste all forty chapters into a new file. Bleargh!

At least it is don now and I can work on the file in peace, without huge data gaps. Yes this means that chapters may be coming back at you.

Okay... I am in classes and despite not having a lot of hours (12) it is eating my time and energy. I had gotten out of the school groove and am busy getting back in. The problem is that between school, homework, exercise, keeping the house, dealing with the health issues of my wife and myself, being exhausted from the new schedule, and life in general, I find that I have a limited amount of time in which to write. Because I have hopes of getting paid for the story, The Amulet of Adventure takes precedence.

Whee!!

I get to start classes this fall. The VA Voc Rehab people are paying for it! So I get to go back to school and learn something that might be helpful in terms of getting a job. And what am I going for? Mental Health Counseling.

That's right I am going to shrink heads! And I wonder what I am going to focus in. :) Our community could always use another shrink, right? Besides, I can work on getting published and take classes. It will be awesome.

Whedonfest was awesome. I think we raised about 800 or more for charity, but it's too soon to tell. Once the final accounting is done we will have a better idea. Great people, lots of fun, and some fun cosplay. One I figured everyone might get a kick out of was a friend of mine dressed as Mal, if Mal was a hot girl instead of a guy. Same shirt and suspenders, same gun, but the short shorts were epic. Very fun outfit and she looked good in it. My FtM friend Dorian dressed as Tony Stark, Simon Tam and Spike from Buffy. Lots of fun.

Now I can hopefully get my brain back and do some writing.

Okay, my day is better, well a bit. I took my daughter to the SSA to get a replacement SS card and while I was there I decided to talk to them and see if I could get my gender marker changed. The woman initially asked if I had my birth certificate. I did not but I explained that I was a MtF who had undergone transition and that this had caused problems with jobs in the past. She talked to her supervisor and came back and said that they could just change things for me. I was blown away. So another legal thing taken care of with no fuss. YAY!!

I have several things creating a great deal of frustration with me right now and the frustration is effecting everything else. This is annoying and I am trying to get past this.

So I finished a unfinished chapter and am on the way to do some work on 300 Rains. The Ranma was nice and light. It was a good break from a lot of heavy thinking and relaxing. Gotta get back to 300 Rains to finish that up so I can move on to Tegan with a clear plate. That would be nice but I don't really see that happening. So I posted this for fun and I hope you all enjoy.

What is really sad, that, ever since my arm started the spasm thing I have barely written. Since my last blog post I have written nothing. This is not a good thing for me as writing is very therapeutic. I am not sure what the problem is, as I can't seem to really focus on much. If I had to guess what is the problem I would probably go with depression getting worse as well. I mean... my arm has gotten worse, more fun and games with poverty and life being generally crazy. So... that would probably be it.

Sigh... this is getting ridiculous.

So, I was able to do 3k today with Tegan. That is great, as I do hope to sell that one and make money, but I have a lot of other things on the backburner as well. The problem is, my muse is not overly interested in anything else and because my shoulder is flopping all over (hyperbole) I am not able to do much on other things such as 300 Rains or the Whateley stories I have in the works. It is very frustrating.

So I wanted to surprise you all with the chapter early, as it has been a while since the last time I posted anything. So read and enjoy. Thank you for being patient with me. And more chapters will arrive as I can get to them. 300 Rains is not being dropped or anything, just that I have a lot of other things going on. After all... they have to make it back to Brazil. :)

Okay, so Chapter 40 is edited and I will probably post it Sunday. I have nothing else ready as another story has hijacked me and since this one is for hopeful future publication, it takes precedence right now. So if I have a lull in writing that story I will try to catch up with 300. I still have an issue with my health and the VA is doing some work on trying to fix the issue. So, if that gets better I will be able to write more and probably catch up.

So, there you have it an update on 300 Rains.

This needs to be watched to be believed.

Okay, so here's what's going on.

I have Torticollis that snaps my head to the left, wrenching my neck and back, severe muscle spasms in my left shoulder that cause it to come right and my depression symptoms are on the rise. I have a hard time focusing on anything, etc... The VA is sending me to a Movement Disorder clinic whenever they get around to it, so who knows when that will occur.
