Hi, everyone!

For those who know my stories and like them, I published my first major work on Smashwords. It's called Grayland and it's a collection of stories about color in a mostly gray world. There are a few transgender elements sprinkled throughout the collection but I wouldn't call it transgender fiction.

Best of all for those of you who like my writing, Grayland is free. Since it's my first major published work, I'm not charging anything for it.

I have a trans-boy grandson who's desperate for testosterone. He wants to order it online and was asking me for suggestions. Can anyone here recommend a good online source for testosterone?

I have a hormone prescription (definitely not testosterone!) from my doctor and I've never ordered online.

By the way, I did try to make sure that even if he orders testosterone online, he should have his hormone levels monitored by a doctor. I've heard that from several sources so I'm thinking that it's good advice.

I found the entry by googling my name, Terry Volkirch.

By clicking the golden girl hashtag, I found out that Erin also has a Golden Girl character. I've read many of Erin's stories here but I haven't seen that one. I'll be looking for it after I post this.

To all of those who I unfriended recently on Facebook, I'm sorry. I had a meltdown and unfriended over 200 people. I'm not always happy and well-adjusted. Not a surprise.

I'm not happy with Facebook. I find it to be a sad replacement for real life so I'm going to minimize my time on it. I hope you understand.

Shortcuts is actually complete and I'm just posting finished chapters. There are thirteen chapters to go. I hope my readers enjoy the ride.

For those of you who like to read finished stories, I post three or four chapters a week so the story should be all here in three to four weeks.

Hi everyone!

I need to hear that I'm not the only one with the following problem.

Are readers afraid of my story because I label it as horror? It really is mild horror, and it's only really at the beginning of the story. I should add the "Sweet/Sentimental" story tag because it's made a few readers cry.

There is no violence or gore in my story. It's just a little scary with a ghost visit at the beginning. I wish more people would give it a chance.

This batch of awards is for serials and solos only. Terry Awards for complete stories that have been posted in multiple parts will be included later in the year.

2009 Terry Awards - Solos of Unspecified Length

This list is rather long. I wonder if it wouldn't be a good idea to require a story length when submitting a story. I'd like to suggest the following list: Serial, Drabble, Short Short, Short Story, Novelette, Novella, Novel, and Verse. Any more than this makes things too complicated and confusing.

Authors, please let me know the length of all solo stories in the list below. I don't have the time to download stories, strip out any HTML and load them into my word processor for a word count. Also, let me know if you'd rather your story not be considered for an award.

NOTE: Looking at the list, I see Andrea DiMaggio's name listed many times. I know she's posted a lot of verses so many of the "stories" listed here are actually verses and not stories.
