Keeping track of the occult mishaps of unsuspecting college students can be a full time job, even if its more of a personal mission than any sort of official post. Unfortunately, there are times of the year when a little 'mishap' can lead to far bigger problems. One of those times approaches... The final part of my contribution to this season's Samhain competition. If you have PTSD issues from wartime situations, you may need to approach this with caution. Masquerade
Beth grunted and breathlessly yelled, “Pull harder Frank!” “I can’t get it any tighter.” I tied off the corset and watched as Beth measured her waist. She looked at me and said, “I feel like a fat bloated pig!” As she start to cry I said, “Honey you are far from being fat. It’s just bad luck that you’re……” Beth interrupted at me and said, “That what, I’m on the rag?” “I wasn’t going to say it like that.” Beth snottily said, “Looks like you get out of wearing your costume after all!” I looked over at the pink and gold Marie Antoinette ball gown that Beth had been talking nonstop about for the last two weeks. Suddenly I really felt guilty for thanking god that, Beth was too bloated to wear it. Though my matching costume had to be the gayest looking 18th century outfit I’d ever saw. I still find it hard to believe men used to actually wear such things made out of satin and lace. I sighed and in a consoling voice said, “I’m sorry honey. I know how much you looked forward to going to that masquerade ball. You know if there was anything I could do for you I would?” Alone 1Author, Rating and Tags:

Just a caution. I had several people read this before I submitted it for posting - it's not a traditional horror story, but rather a strike at the core of a hope. It is horrible.

Submitted by Nikki Thong on Sat, 2011/10/15 - 9:26pm
This is a true Halloween story about eighteen year old twins a boy and girl Nikki and Ann, and their quest to win a costume contest that turns into an adventure that changes their lives forever. Will Halloween ever be the same for them or anyone who reads this? The story does contain a couple of hints at sexual feelings but no real sex, just the desires that normal eighteen year olds get at that age when bodies are close and lips are met. I didn’t want to have to break this into two parts but then thought I should. This is the big finish. Forbidden PlanetAuthor, Rating and Tags:
