Only A T Girl Knows!

Only a T Girl Knows!
or those who just don't get it!

Come on Doctor give me a date
Some of us T-girls started much too late
I just don't wanna to leave my gender to fate
Since you know it’s more than bras and hose
‘Cause only a T-Girl knows

Well they teased me and told me to just go away
I feared the girl within me wouldn’t see the light of day
An arrested transition is too steep a price to pay
You know it’s more than what your outside shows
‘Cause only a T-Girl knows
Only a Teeeee - Girl knows
Only a T-Girl knows

Some might presume they know all there is to know
They offer advice with no wisdom to show
And they’ve got all the answers with none of my woe
And they do nothing but blindly suppose
‘Cause only a T-Girl know

Well acceptance ain’t no good without a real relation
Heart ache won’t go away just because they say
And they can't see our lives as one's of desperation
"Please don't say to me…you see what I see!!!"

Look out, look out, sister, It just isn’t right
We can’t talk to family without startin’ a fight
And we cry ‘cause they might never see the light
Since some think it’s only womens' clothes
But only a T-girl knows
Maybe a T-boy
But mostly a T-girl…knows....

Even for crossdressers
And for impersonators
And Transsexuals…
And Transvestites…
And any other permutation
In all of creation

‘Cause only a T-Girl knows…
More than just pantyhose…
More than just women’s clothes
‘Cause only a T-girl knows…

'it is so true, that only a T girl knows and it is so hard to explain to the rednecks
and neanderthals as they don't even understand themselves.I thank you for the wisdom of
your verse and the kind postscript at the end.Much love and best wishes,Alison

We certainly do know, Drea.

We know what we need that will make us happy. We know that our journeys differ from each other's and we know our ends are similar. But, because we are "different" from the so-called mainstream, they make light of us and tell us that all we need is a good dose of manhood. I wonder what they wouldbe saying if this was them that was going through this? Very enlitening Drea, and heartfelt and tells it like it is. Yes, Drea, I agree, only a T-girl knows.

"With confidence and forbearance, we will have the strength to move forward."

Love & hugs,
Barbara

"If I have to be this girl in me, Then I have the right to be."

Very well put Drea.

Only a T Girl can possibly know and I'm sorry but doctors can never know unless they themselves are Tee.

Your poem is just so-oo so-ooo appropriate.

It sicken's me that all other physical disabilities like hair-lip or displesia or club foot or even deafness or blindness that might be curable with surgey or medicine, will be cured asap by doctors as soon as intervention is suitable but if a child is born with deformed genitalia the poor bloody kid has to wait forever to get surgery and even now in the US, the insurance won't cover it.

Doctors make me sick. Medicine is all about money and doubly so in America.

Bev.

Growing old disgracefully.
