Pastor Don Tidmore stood at the alter, but spoke not. He looked at the first row on his left hand side. There in the center of the pew sat Jenny Milan, right where she belonged. She looked different with her head shaved, but with her there, life was returning back to normal. To Jenny’s left was his daughter, Rachael, her head was similarly shaved down and he felt so proud of her. Amber and Jessie followed, there heads were also in a modified crew cut as well. On the other side of jenny, Christine sported a similar hairdo as her friend as the group showed support for their friend that was restored. The hair was all donated to a charity that made wigs for children with cancer and Don felt a certain pride for his flock. Now, Jenny would not have to feel self conscious, she was a trend setter. Don chuckled to himself, “if a visitor came by, they might mistake this non-denominational church as some sort of cult,” he mused to himself.
Directly next to jenny, sat Shawn. The two held hands and amazingly Chase, who sat directly behind them, had yet to turn red with anger. Don smiled in their direction.
“Life is never easy, even for those of us who have hope in Christ,” don started his sermon. “I doubt that after the fall, that God ever intended it to be. Sometimes we are put through the wringer, brought to our breaking point. We feel that the next fall of the hammer will be the last need. But it is then that we are strengthened. As the Apostle Paul said, ‘in my weakness, I am made strong.’”
Jenny nodded in approval. He had made her strong indeed.

Author's Note: I purposefully saved the short epilogue for last instead of include it with the previous chapter because i wanted overall feedback put here. Are there things that should be added or taken away to make this novel better. Realize, that I plan to one day have this published and be a real author someday. Also, if you found value in this work and would like to reward the author, I have a paypal account at [email protected], it would surely help. Thank you, God Bless.

Finding Jenny Part II -Epilogue
Waiting for you to continue her story in a new book.
May Your Light Forever Shine
May Your Light Forever Shine
No greater tribute could have been shown, no greater love ...
that what HER friends did for her. To voluntarily give up their hair -- donating it to a charity no less -- so that Jenny would not be seen to stand out among them is proof of her love and their love for her.
Sweet.
A short but worthy end to this part of the tale.

Powerful, Wonderful, Scary, Heartwarming, Loving, and Learning
I am not sure how to describe this series any other way then I just did.
If there is a continuance to Jenny's story you can definitely count me as one of the many fans. As with life there were some parts that were extremely difficult to read as I am sure they were just as hard if not harder to write. One song that you left out of the sound track is I Can Only Imagine by MercyMe, I could envision that song being played either in the opening credits or the ending credits of the movie and Yes I can see the saga being done sometime.
I am Honored that you chose to share your talent of storywriting with us here and feel blessed that we are here to share the time with you.

I will miss reading this
I will miss reading this story every couple of days as new chapters came out. I went looking just now, and was sad when I remembered that it was over.
Donation
I really, really wish I could afford to give some sort of donation but unfortunately with myself being out of work like so many other thousands of people making ends meet is really tough now. Sorry!
Anyway, this story does deserve to be made into a movie most definitely, not to mention a book as well of course!

In One Day
I don't know how I did it, but it says a lot for your ability as a writer. I read this story from start to finish in one day. You are a very good writer, and this was a good story. Like some of your other stories, I think you could tell the story without all the description of sexual acts or abuse, but the only part I had to skip over was Shawn's attack. When you were still writing this story I always chose not to read it due to your warnings on certain chapters. I don't know what caused me to read it today, but it is a good story. So good, you had this dyslexic reading 200,000 words in one day (with the help of a little adaptive tech).
Thank you for sharing your soul with us. You put a lot of yourself into this story, and that is not easy.
Finding Jenny
Hello K. T.
Wow, what an emotional roller coaster. From a little girl at the top of her game, quite literally, to a tortured prisoner to a heroine, Jenny's life has taken many twists and turns. The fact that she survived, and, along with her friends and family, has grown stronger is a great joy to all her fans.
I really liked this series, and I hope you continue to enthrall us with stories of Jenny, Chase, Melissa, Amber, Chase Junior, Shawn, Christine, Rachael, and of course, Neesa.
Again, Happy Birthday!

i love the story
I just wish you would write more into jenny's future
reply to safcjcp
I do have a concept for another novel in the trilogy. It would take place Jenny's senior year in high school. The story itself revolves more around Shawn Sweet and his relationship with Jenny. I am pooling together ideas right now, though I have the general concept figured out. I am just rounding everything together. And then there is the actual writing of it.

Hmmm.Dont know where to
Hmmm.
Dont know where to begin. This is definitely not what I usually read. Objectively, the overall writing was sound, but mechanically there were many editing issues. You explained that your editor didnt do the job you paid for, but you should have double-checked, especially considering that you have a paid e-book version.
Subjectively, I don't very much get into these kinds of stories, but this was a welcome departure. I read from GBTC all the way through the end of FJ2. I had no problems with anything, up until the rape scene in Finding Jenny. By that book, Diane/Dee, and Zarchy had become almost caricatures of evil bible thumping zealots. Everything that most anyone had done, including Jenny's original parents seemed plausible. Just, IMO, the actions of Diane and Zarchy wasn't fitting with everything else, and although it most certainly added layers to deal with, Shawn's rape seemed unnecessary. As I said, all of the happenings did add a layer or two to the story, effectively turning it into a suspense at the end, and giving it conflict and a climax, so I understand why it was done.
I was also uncomfortable reading certain parts, and felt that the nudity was a bit much, and it began to feel like looking at a wreck; you shouldn't but you can't help to keep looking. But I finished it, and overall, still felt rewarded having done so.
Like many others, I too would love to read a story, or stories set in the future of Jenny Milan, her family, and the Sweets, and IMHO, there's no need to traumatize these characters anymore. LOL.
