A world like Anmar takes a whole lot of inventing since every tiny detail needs its own name and characteristics. I struggled with the mass of background data for a while and then discovered that someone else had already managed to do what I could not. Since this information may be of interest to other readers, by kind permission of the compiler I am making it available to all.
As might be expected with an incomplete work, the contents of this file will change as new information comes to light.

Thank you Penny and Payter
I have invested myself in this story, it may be the last one I have the chance to do so with before I go into hospice and finish up here on earth. Health is a funny thing, not ha ha funny but twisted, dark, nasty funny because when young we take so much for granted, and pay such a price later in life for our excesses and mistakes. I was a warrior, a fighter who would have preferred to die on the field, like so many of my friends did, instead I linger from all the garbage I was exposed to and hurt from all the broken bones and poorly healed injuries. I spend an inordinate amount of time reading and re-reading your wonderful story Penny, and I appreciate that you have passed along Payter's work to all of us addicted to this tale. My real hope is to last long enough to see the end of this before I am called to my next stop on our trip through eternity, and can help or add some small or tiny part to enrich the reading of someone, that will last past me, and matter, even if it's only realized by me. The joy that I will someday feel is good to look forward to when pain is gone and new things are presented for my too curious nature, always wanting to know everything. So good times lie ahead, and good feelings flow out to all the people who have helped fill the empty places, and give life to dreams of slender girlhood, gentle curves, instead of brutish hirsute monstrosity. yes I'm one sick puppy, and both proud of it and worn out from living so far from where I belong. But, enough of sad and down, when fun can still be had, I solemnly promise to try my best to live to the end of your story, no guaranties but I will give my best effort.

To Draflow
Not such a wonderful prospect Draflow, I am saddened by your prospective untimely exit.
I hope you make it to the end of the story and I hope the story lasts for many years.
I know many who have been along our route thus far, potentially sacrificing themselves because we feel we are 'disposable assets'. Some fulfill their own prophesies and some come home. I was lucky enough to come home, 12 years was enough time to prove that I had other uses.
Your philosophy is sound, I trust it will allow you happiness in your alloted time.
Warmest regards
Jenny
What an amazing compilation!
It very clearly shows the dedication of all the contributers to the series of tales and their ability to relate to the readers the complexity and difficulty of creating an entire world, it's residents, and it's flora and fauna.
I stand in deepest respect and admiration of the efforts of all involved.
I also want to stand and salute those who have served their country, even though they may not have agreed with the reasons they served. Nevertheless, they did so with honor and dignity, and they deserve all the respect we can afford them. Without them, we would never have the freedoms and privileges we currently enjoy.
For all of them, and for all those who serve, from my heart, THANK YOU!

As a T-woman, I do have a Y chromosome... it's just in cursive, pink script.
My feelings exactly
You have written down my thoughts quite neatly there!
I spent 12 years before the mast as a chief petty officer and now I am able to look back on it with a degree of nostalgia.
I can also look back on it with the eyes of the woman I both was and who I became.
Whenever they play "For Those in Peril on the Sea" I cry - whenever they play the last post, I cry. I cry for those who died, those who paid the price. Knowing that some of them did it because they were like us and felt they had no real worth except to that end.
Thank you also from me.
