Like every star
You are quite far
Yes, it is quite sad,
At times it even drives me mad.
But the twinkling of your light
Is always a delight
Nothing can compare
To you out there
You are my star, my guide
Regardless far away or to my side
Splendid is the warmth and love with which you shine,
How great it is to know it’s mine.
Let’s walk together near and far,
my lovely star
Just to the end
of the time in this World we have to spend.
