You are all inspiring to me

In the aftermath of the little problem we had here, I thought it might be a good idea to do some building-up of the great writers on this site. I'll start:

Every writer here has had an impact on me, but I wanted to mention a few who really have inspired me:

Drea DiMaggio. Hon, you combine music and story in a way that hits home with me, every time.

Lilith_Langtree: Not only a great writer, but in creating the ret-con universe, home of some of my favorite stories.

Maggie_Finson: Does the fact I have written a poem based on one of Maggie's characters show just how much of an inspiration she's been to me? If not, the fact I'm writing a new Phoenix story should.

Misty Meenor: "Out of the ashes" moved me like few pieces ever had. I wept when Delores died.

Cyclist: Steph makes the real world interesting, no mean feat. And "Sweat and Tears changed forever how I think of forced fem stories.

Randalynn: If all she had written was the "Stark" series, that would be enough to put her on this list. But of course, she has done so much more.

There are lots of others, but you get the idea.

So folks, lets build each other up, shall we?

You forgot 1

How did you forget EOF or better know as enemyoffunny he is one of the new writers that has a truly great imagination and writing style I hope his never runs out of stories to write---RICHIE2

P.S.

there are more than that forgotten like Zoe Taylor, Laika,Gwen Brown,Stanman,Little Katie,Bailey Summer,Randalyn, OMG the list goes on and on no one should be left out they are all GREAT

Missing the message

As soon as Dorothy listed a few authors that especially inspired her the post became unintentionally more about who rather than all. I don't think Dorothy intended to single out the particular authors at the expense of any other, she merely wanted to mention some that perhaps meant a bit more to her personally. So please don't focus on whom she might have or should have listed - that wasn't the point of the post.

Great Idea! =D My turn... = )

Extravagance's picture

Now then, in alphabetical (last name if more than one) order...

ALYS: The Price To Pay. ...Is that you won't want to put it down... = )

ANGHARAD: She's got more staying power than a safari park full of horny (in both senses of the term) rhinos who've had their water supply spiked with viagra!

DOROTHYCOLLEEN: She is one awesome author! = ) Along with many other wonderful stories, she brought us Zombie-killer Girlfriend! =D Not all T-Girls are super girly, y' know. Great to see us represented! ;)

ENEMYOFFUN: What a misleading username this author has! ^_^

MR SEXY GIRL: She hasn't actually written any stories/poems/whathaveyou to date, and she has quite a knack for speaking her mind with about as much subtlety and foresight-of-what-the-reaction-might-be as a bull in a china shop, but someone might have been inspired by or appreciated something she said somewhere, at some point.

D L: A Dee-Lightful author indeed. The Secret Garden remake was an absolute joy, and Simon(e) continues to be so! ^_^

MAERYN LAMONTE: She calls herself "the girl inside". Such is her writing skill, she will always be inside... ...MY HEART. ^_^

NOM DE PLUME: A Murder Misstery... I. Could. Not. Put. My. Laptop. Down. For. A. SECOND!! Who needs those offline thriller authors?

SALESS: I recently had a craving for a happy story. I thought to myself: "Where's Saless when I need her?" Y' see folks, the happy moments in her stories have me smiling and expressing happiness in ways utterly beyond my ability to describe. ...No matter how many times I read them! ^_^

BAILEY SUMMERS: ...Snuggly. That's how I feel, when I am treated to such literary treats. ^_^

BEVERLY TAFF: The Sissy Farm. What a marathon that was! FAR more to the point though, it was a DELIGHT. ^_^

ZOE TAYLOR: She's been given the title "The queen of sweetness", and she deserves it for her ongoing Becoming Robin alone! ^_^

I could mention many more, but I'm running out of steam. I can honestly say I've never read a bad story on this site.
*Raises a glass of whiskey* To ALL of us! :D

^_^
