CHAPTER 20
Ian was back in a couple of minutes, his wife turning up with the wayward offspring a few seconds after. She peered at his face, seeming to spot the red in his eyes, and then turned her gaze onto me.
CHAPTER 19
It was a crisp Autumn day, the freshly fallen leaves mixed with the confetti that Neil had insisted on and the sun warm through the net of my headgear once out of the soft wind. It was Neil who had stood up with Ralph, and it was Neil who had spoken to the vicar at High Usworth to arrange my mother’s second wedding in the same church that had celebrated her first.
Andrea was worried. The roast in the oven was almost ready but she was not sure that they would like it. She was currently rubbing her hands back and forth, a nervous gesture of hers, as she waited for the roast to finish. She wondered for the 20th time if she should make a salad or maybe some desert.
Being that the trans support group meeting was to be held at her house for the first time she was understandably very worried. Would they think her place to masculine? To overly feminine? Was the bath towels clean? Did the girls rooms look okay? Would anyone think she was abusing them?

Chapter 53
Previously on the last episode of Jem…
I’m going over things in my head and figuring out songs when I hear Rayne sort of mumble curse.
“What? What’s up?”
“I think we’re being followed?”
“Huh?”
“Yeah, and I think it’s those guys from the other night it looks like their truck.”
I look back in the mirror and it’s hard to tell because last time it had been so dark out but I just have this feeling that it is. I call Mike on the phone.

A shiny black hair…
I had the distinct feeling that this was a somebody and not a something when I had seen her. But what does this mean? Was she able to break herself down into pure information?
Oh the implication of that have me there for likely an hour just staring at the thread.
Teleportation?
Like Star-Trek?
But in wide, wide theory this could be plausible. We are all made of energy? Matter breaks down into energy, but can energy become matter? Not that we know of but…

Jem…Chapter 52
Chapter 52
It’s a pure moment.
Sunshine and love and me just really able to be myself and still loved by my father who’s holding me in my arms. Like I said I swear that I could feel my Mom’s presence with us in this whole moment.
Our first real father daughter talk and one that left me feeling loved and treasured. What girl big or little can say that that’s not something that I’ll treasure forever?

I should be more nervous than this about getting Dad to come over and telling him. I might be in shock, I’ve actually wondered if part of me isn’t stunned by this a little. I keep turning it over and over in my head as I make breakfast and really it’s just.
It’s where I might have been headed anyway.
I have a Mom thing.
Yes I know but I know that this is part of me. I lost her really young and it’s a deep part of my psyche. If had of been Dad it’d be the same thing we were a close and happy family.

In this installment: Lex enjoys a fateful reunion with someone from her past and must confront all the ramifications of it. Agent Helligan and a lawyer help iron out the details. A long awaited heart-to-heart finally occurs. Lex shows her mettle to those who would doubt her.
Andrea shook her head. Dorothy was so cute with her idea.
"It works for plants. Indeed!" She muttered.
Jacilynn had been quiet for some time in her room. Andrea gently tapped on the door of her newest daughter. There was no answer. Fearing another flashback episode Andrea opened the door and looked in.
There was no sign of Jacilynn however there was signs of a struggle of sorts. On the bed was a pair of jeans. While Andrea knew they were girls jeans they did look the same as a pair of boys jeans. Normally this would not be an issue but for Jacilynn Andrea knew it was.

I curl almost into Rayne spooning into her hip and smiling at her and we’re kissing and she’s tearing up still and crying and I go from kissing her to wrapping my arms around her and pressing my chest to her side and slipping myself under her arm but I pull her closer to me and even as angel I hold her in that same way as my Dad does.
It’s just me…I’m Angel…and she’s said that Angel is boy plus some and at the same time maybe I can also be a girl plus some too. I hold her gently but with enough care and strength that she’s safe.

Warm Milk, A Jaci and Dottie Story
‘Drea DiMaggio put on her nightie, and was just about to head to bed when there was a soft knock at the door. Putting on a robe, she went to the door, and saw little Dottie standing there, in her favorite nightie, which had a picture of Tinkerbell on it.
CHAPTER 18
The meal was no wonder of modern cuisine, but it was properly cooked and filling, and I noticed that it wasn’t just tea being consumed by some of the older sorts. People were happy, that was the overwhelming thing. Mostly in pairs, mostly touching, even Von’s earlier pain seemed to have left the building, as she came to life discussing her baby’s college plans with Kelly and Mark as if Will wasn’t even there.

I was astonished. There is really no other word that could possibly mark what I had seen. The whole thing about the range of curses that the phrase ‘autism spectrum disorder’ covers is communication, or rather the lack of it.
This is a different tale that sprang up while I was cooking dinner. It is a single short story. This story may hurt you. Reader beware.
Michelle was confused. People kept asking or calling for someone named Mikey. She would sit day after day in the living room playing with her older sister and her barbies or tea.

Dorothy is rather insistent that I publish this part right now even though WE, yes you too Dottie, are still working on the whole story and it will not be ready for quite some time.
Mother DiMaggio has also given her consent to this project and may contribute from time to time if we are being bad girls.
From the journal of Dr. Adam Saintclair phd gid specialist.
My next appointments are with a rather interesting group of individuals brought together by circumstance and I believe will help each other through their respective problems.
Like all my girlfriends I had dreamed of my perfect wedding for years. I had envisioned every detail down to the way I wanted the rice done on platters.
There was the adult luncheon with the real antique white china. The full utensils for a 7 course meal even though my future husband and I could only afford soup salad and regular meal, fancy yes but not that expensive. I wore the cutest satin skirt suit that showed off all my curves to the best detail. It was in white of course.

Patience de la Croix has been on the run from the Catholic Church for years. Now that it has come time to fulfill her destiny, they've found her again.
The night air was humid but still much cooler than it had been during the day. For the team of men this was best. They were all dressed in black from head to toe including their faces which had the coal black matte finish of a professional.
They enclosed on the location of their target with stealth. This was not easy as the target in question lived in a townhouse apartment surrounded by many other townhouse apartments all of which belonged to people who lived in the lower end of income. These people usually were up and about at all times of day or night.
CHAPTER 16
It was still sitting there, at the back of my mind in one sense but so dominant in others. Larinda. I had said she was special, and it was true, but each time I looked at her Von’s words leapt at me. I was gay, there was absolutely no doubt in my mind. It was as much a part of my life, my soul, as my gender, and something I had found just as difficult to express.

Chapter 1 - Melanie and her mother.
As they left Glenn's Eatery, Marilyn said she wanted to go home, and then take a road trip to Wayne County to get all of their things. She said while she was there, she would call for a truck to bring their furniture to the new house.
As they drove in to the drive way leading to the house, they saw a green pickup truck by the front door. It was Melanie's uncle Jerry, well, really Gerald, but everybody just called him Jerry.

I sat in the grass along the north side of the building and watched her walk past; I sucked air through my teeth at her beauty. My eyes followed her walk, swaying deliciously toward the little bench by the pines.
"Hey man... you even listening?" My friend Roger slapped my arm.
I glanced over at him and grinned, "Ever see her around here before?"
His eyebrows raised, "No... actually I haven't." He looked around me at the woman. "Why don't you go on over and talk to her... she looks like your type."
I frowned, "Now what the heck is that supposed to mean."
He smiled, "She's cute... not spectacular... just cute."
I looked again to see if we were talking about the same girl. "You're crazy. She's incredibly beautiful."

Author's note: This is a sequel to "A Cry in the dark", which was a sequel to "You." Since "You" was done in second person perspective, and "A cry in the Dark" was done in third person, I figured this one should be first person, just to round the whole thing out. As always, comments are appreciated ...

Dad snuggled in next to Mom on the sofa; she put aside the skirt she
was working on and they hugged and kissed, but I thought I saw a
little bit of hesitation, and it hurt. I knew too many kids at school
whose parents were divorced, or looked like they might get a divorce
any time now, and I was happy to think that my parents looked like the
sticking-together kind. But when I saw her hesitate a little before
letting him hug her and kiss her, it worried me. Could they still
stay together after changing in such drastic and different ways? And
if not, what would happen to me?
