Well, my work is being pushed out to the public, but to be honest, I would rather be writing. Stolen Innocence is now available in paperback, which came with its own set of lessons.

One year and ten weeks ago, the first thing that I had written, that I allowed anyone to read, was posted on this site.

Hi Everyone,

After 450 pages and well north of 200,000 words, Holly patiently continued to correct my tenses, change my often misused words, and generally tried to teach me what I should have learned years ago. Do they offer Sainthood for editors? I would also like to express my thanks to those of you that have followed my attempts at writing since the first chapter of Princess of the Desert. Your comments and encouragement are the primary reason I have continued to pursue this new hobby, and will continue to do so in the future. This is a sequel to “Princess of the Desert”. I do recommend reading the first story before starting this one, as much of the story will not make sense otherwise. Again, I would like to give my unending thanks to Holly for her editing and guidance. I do hope I am making her job a little easier as I gain more experience at this writing thing. I welcome your comments, thoughts and suggestions as that is the only way I will know what needs to be improved. As with the first story, I will maintain the “r21/a” rating. Though I will attempt to avoid many of the explicit descriptions, the story will be venturing into some of the darker corners of society, where dreams are many, but fairy tales are few.

My mind was totally scrambled by the time we left the crime scene, only fifteen minutes after we arrived. Smith led me back out to the waiting SUV, and we were off to the airport again. The Lear Jet took off only minutes after we boarded, heading to Washington D.C.

The seats in the Lear were arranged with four seats around a fixed table. There were four of these table/chair sets on the jet.

Both Tina and I were in the office this afternoon for the trafficking case conference call which was scheduled to start in about a half hour. For the past couple of hours, I had been going over the case notes again to make sure we did not miss something, and we had all the gaps filled before the call.

The ongoing detailed investigation into his background has revealed nothing to explain why he was kidnapped. No evidence of transsexual behavior or ties to such behavior was found. Everything that we have found says he was just a kid going to school.

Dear Readers
This is the first chapter of a new story. First I would like to thank Holly for her editing and guidance, as it is obvious that I did not pay as close of attention in English classes as I should have. Secondly, I would like to offer an advance warning that this story delves into a very dark world of human slavery and brutality. Though this story is completely fictional the inspiration for it comes from people that I have personally known, and listened to their stories. There will be no scenes of explicit brutality or sexual abuse included, except where they can’t be avoided, but reference to the effects that such activities have on others will be addressed. As with all of my stories, I will strive for a happy ending, and you may actually find this to be a love story. However, it is a love story that starts in the darkest corners where there is no limit of the evil that man will do to his fellow man for pleasure or gain.

This is the final chapter in my story. In this chapter I addressed some medical issues that I am by no mean and expert at. I did as much research as I could to try to keep the facts correct. However, if I took some license to maintain the story please forgive my transgressions.
