Synopsis: On Scott’s eighteenth birthday his adopted parents give him a box of objects from his past. Inside he finds all sorts of things from his childhood, including two passes to some place called Bikini Beach. One pass is in his mother’s name and one is in his own. Confused, Scott goes to the park to search for answers.

Synopsis: A bitter but brilliant and attractive woman who feels her career has been sidetracked by men finds an MAU. She figures out a clever way to use the device to get back at some of the men who she feels wronged - or will wrong - her.

Author's notes:
I've watched the evolution of MAU with mixed emotions. On the one hand, it's been quite popular for authors, which is rewarding to watch. On the other, well, one thing I really didn't want to create was a universe based on fantasy, and I hoped the rules would help contain that. Unfortunately, my fears have been realized as stories have strayed into the fantastic and beyond. I could be like Bill with SRU and consider anything not by me to be non-canon. I could close the universe. Both of those seemed inadequate, or unfair to those who chose to play by my rules. The final straw was the theory that the agency had become a dark X-files-like conspiratorial evil group, as opposed to the light-hearted MIB spoof, powerless to do much beyond simple investigation and offering some help to victims.

Consider this a creator's slap at the big red RESET button. Please, authors, respect the rules of the universe I created, or create your own. There has to be some scientific rationale behind a change, not some weird fantasy. The agency is not some conspiratorial evil group. Thank you.

Each of the boys has their storylines further fleshed out. Not sure if I'll continue this way or focus one one next time.

Synopsis: David spent his life as a notorious villain, until he comes up against the new hero group, Girl Power.

A young man blames himself for the accidental death of his sweetheart. His futile attempts to escape his guilt have put him on a path of self-destruction. A punk girl takes him to Bikini Beach, and he gets a new perspective, and maybe, a second chance.

Notes: This story uses a few characters from Ellie Dauber's "Purse Snatcher" and "A Punk's Story" (Ed, Ken, Mel, Frankie, Tina, and Felicia). They are friends of the main characters, and are only incidentally used her. The story also makes reference to Melody, a girl from Ib12us's "The Runaway".

This is a little difficult to write, because there are so many flashbacks, and I've struggled with a way to mark them as such, without being 'clunky.' Flashback paragraphs are demarked at the start by *****that fateful night***** or similar

True to the Professor's words David did return with a can of pop. Pepsi, not diet of course, however he at least managed to get her a straw of sorts.

(This is an different story for me, but one that underlies those who waited for others to give them direction or make decisions for them. Hopefully in time each of us accepts who we are and learns to live with oneself.)
