Need some book help

Hello everyone! I'm in need of some help. Some years ago I wrote my first book, Heroes of Justice. Finally I've got around to getting it ready to go up on Kindle, but for one small problem, the Cover. I understand that there is a service were you can for a low price ask for a cover to be made for you. That's great!

However, you still need to have some idea of what to ask for since the artist has more than likely never read your story.

Tootsie' 'Was Never a Comedy for Me. I ran across this while surfing. While it may not be TG per say since Dustin Hoffman is an actor in a role, the interview really touched a place that had me crying.

Six years 52 weeks

That's what it says on my author page. Has it been that long? I suppose it has given the number of stories posted although my rate has decreased. I've had personal issues that has arisen. That's why I have to apologize for not responding to comments as well as I used too. Believe me I cherish each one, but just trying to keep writing is taking all of my energies.

So just so it is said a very big thank you to everyone who comment on "Who do that Hoodoo," "Rising of the Queen," and "Waking the Dreamer."

Tooting my horn

Well, it's May eight again, my birthday. In the past, I used to hide given the outright disasters that used to happen today. My darling, wonderful wife vowed to change that. The last few years has been great if for no other reason that I have someone who cares so much about me to share them with. This year however is different.

One April Morning: The Rising of the Queen

“Good Morning My Queen.” A musical voice piped, far too cheerily for any morning much less this one. This weekend was supposed to be magical, the fulfillment of all of his dreams, but he'd only found bitter disappointment, again.

Old Faithful

Well, Old Faithful, the 14 year old Hp computer that was always there as a backup when newer machines failed finally called it quits. Petty sure it was the power supply since the power light on the front went out but it might've been something else. I'm not a tech. Push the button, it turns on! MAGIC!

Broken link/page

For the last few days I've occasionally have received the Broken page/link message while hitting the HOME button at the bottom of the page. It's not always, but it is annoying. I'm not sure if this is indicative of another problem or just more of the same old one.

All of you have my deepest appreciation for all the hard work you do keeping this oasis for us open.

Big hugs

The Mrs. Clause: The Christmas Party Notes

Hey everyone! As you can see yes, I did miss the Christmas Contest deadline. However, that's a story in itself. When the idea first hit me of mixing The Santa Clause and truckers together, I thought of Wren. I knew she'd spent time on the road until health matters prevented it. Now bear in mind besides the usual exchange of comments I never really spoke to her, but you can sorta get to know someone here though the blogs and such.

I the author reserve the rights, so please don't go posting this anyplace else without my permission. A very special thanks goes out to Cathy and all the others out there in BCTS land who have encouraged and inspired me to write and keep writing.

This story is dedicated to Wren Phoenix. May the wind beneath your wings always guide you to your fondest desires and loves.

Grover's Christmas Stories

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas for everyone who wants it! This is just a friendly note letting everyone know I'm still more or less active, but like so many having a bit of trouble. Personal issues along with yet another computer going belly up on me has sapped my creative energies. Fortunately I managed to save most of my work, I think/hope!, but the odds of me finishing either one of the two Christmas Contest stories I'm working on are getting rather long.

I will try, but no promises.

Christmas Special!

Forlornly, George stared out his window. The nasty frozen stuff was really coming down.
Big, heavy, wet, white clumps of snow tumbled downward until they disintegrated smashing into the ground.

FreeRIDErs!

Okay since Shaun.v has already kinda sorta mentioned FreeRIDErs, I'll go ahead and put in my two cents. FreeRIDErs is a series of stories that is currently being posted over at Shifti.org. It takes place in the far future on another planet called Zharus which is a type of super-earth. Bigger than Earth but with similar gravity due to lesser density.

It is very much an anime style tale with animal styled powered-armor that uses nanites to help merge the AI armor and human pilot into one form. There are a lot of gender changes in the stories as a whole, although not every story has TG.

The Constantine Affliction

Today I've run across a book by T. Aaron Payton, 'The Constantine Affliction.' It's a Victorian Steam-punk book with a strong TG element. Neither primary characters are affected, but several secondary ones are.
Since it is by Baen Books there are teaser chapters and can be purchased though their E-book service.

Five years and Fifty-Two Weeks.

Wow have I really been here THAT long? :) I recently was asked a question and I had to go check. How many stories have I written. The answer is a little vague, but this is me after all. More than 50 not including two novels. The sad part is I probably have at least as many incomplete sitting in a stack of notebooks and my hard drive. I do hope to complete them someday, but I'm dependent on the fickleness of muses. I'm also not as functional as I would like which is a sore point with me since I'm not nearly as challenged as many here.

Jumping on the posting merry go round!

Does anyone else frets about the posting thing or is it just me? I, like us all, like having my story having some page time before falling off the bottom. I've found myself watching to see if a slow time shows up. It's like timing the merry go round so you can step on.

Should I post now? No, wait until after Bike. Is it time yet, hey here's a new one by Maggie. Got to read that one. Should I post now? No, let's wait for tomorrow. :)

So yes I finally got this one posted.

Career Day Vol. 2: I Get Around Part 1

It all started when a dream I was having went ‘a little caca.’ In the blink of cosmic clock, I went from an old man living from hand to mouth to my own childhood, reliving the sixth grade. Which could’ve been fun if it’d been the universe I remembered. Fortunately, I had help - an alien Constructed Intelligence by the name of Hap. Unfortunately, while she can heal almost any hurt or illness, she’s still an immobile machine. So here I am reliving my life again putting things right that once went wrong, a kind of cross-dimensional time-traveling Lone Ranger with Hap as my Tonto. And I don’t even need a mask. (Oh Boy!”)
My apologies to “Quantum Leap!”

FROM CATHY: Sorry for the delay in posting this chapter. A computer problem is to blame, but all is fixed and here we go!

An incident prods our heroes to jump into action. Chapter 9 will follow very soon, I promise.
