Chapter 2 - The Saga is Set in Motion

Trying to figure out what was going on was going to give her a headache. She had not thought that she believed in ghosts, but that might be the only way to explain where the girl had gone. There was no way she could have run away without being seen.

Martin was just looking for a costume. What he found was a whole new world and new possibilities.

Happy Halloween

Martin looked through the few racks of costumes one more time. It was still a week before the Halloween dance at the Student Union and all of the costume shops he had been to had been pretty much picked through. There were not many people looking for costumes now, they would have been through earlier in the week.

Mike found himself caught between the proverbial rock and a hard place.

The 'woman' on his lap was comatose from emotional strain. She was total dead weight and Mike was unable to lift her.

His wife was passed out on the floor and he knew if he didn't go to her there would hell to pay.

Mike realized that to someone just walking into the room, it would be a very compromising tableau. It wasn’t and he needed to put things back to a normal appearance.

A wife discovers her husband's hobby and offers to help him experience what it is like to be a woman.

This story is the response to a trope (and a story on another site) where the main character has been trapped into a life of helplessness and not given a means to escape. It's an anti-trope?
