Hmmmm

Looks interesting, just going by the first part. Its a shame there isn't some sort of page forward/page back setup to make reading it a bit easier.

there is a page forward / back

top right, in the post there is a previous / next link pair. ;)

Stupidity is a capital offense. A summary not indictable.

maybe not for mobile

When I went there the forward and back buttons didn't work for me. I'm using a mobile, so that could be it...?

yup

Miranda is awesomeness =)

I love it

Good story, excellent find hun.

Don't Share Your Enthusiasm

When the protagonist fears being taken for a "tranny" I chew mental tinfoil.

I tried to force an answer. “I’m scared of…”

“Of what?” Tanya pushed. She inched closer and ran a hand down my soul.

“Of being a tranny,” I told her.

“You mean… of not being seen as a woman? A real woman I mean,” she said.

I nodded.

An angsty teenager, roils against the injustice of labels, yet thinks nothing of making distinctions on the gender spectrum that are ill-defined, at best.

It was only one line in the first several chapters, but for me it's like "Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play."

The writing quality is far above average for the genre. I'm sure most BC readers will love it.

Understood

There are also a LOT of adults who don't understand that many aspects of being a "tranny" are found in people without gender dysphobia ... and in transsexuals. When stories poke this particular button, I'm very uncomfortable.

I have no idea how old the author is. I made no assumption of her age.

I hope I made it clear that this is an excellent story, just not for me.

Oh okay :)

Yeah it's actually a button for a lot of people.

Words are just words.

Black is black and not afrowhite!
You and even Bailey missed the meaning because of how are you stuck on labels. And it was so simple... Just a girl who is a girl not wanting to do anything with being labeled as transsexual/transgendered/tranny/gendersomething. She is just a girl and just wants to be labeled "girl".

I understand you.

But. Tranny is just a word. There are loads of words that are offencive to some people and "WTF? What is wrong with this word?" to other people.
And in that particular case tranny was just a generalized term meaning that protagonist is a girl. Not a transsexual. Not a crossdresser. Not a shemale (which is much worse than tranny IMHO). Just girl. And "tranny" in that case is just a shortest word construct to generalize all of those concepts.

Thanks for the link!

Gone through the main story. One of the few superhero stories that I r3ally b enjoyed!
