I believe that since then, among the general population, Brazillian culture has improved for the vulnerable but among the police and military there are clearly some who still have the ethics of the worst mercenaries. As to the newspaper… just what is their motive beyond sales?

Not just Transwomen....

The Brazilian police's mindset is supposed to resemble a military, they even refer or consider the common people vermin.

Every year the bulk of people remembered at TDR (Transgendered Day of Remembrance) are from Brazil lately. They do some truly horrific things to folk like us over there, like setting them on fire. Not a good place to visit.
