Still alive and kicking

Hey there everybody,

I just wanted to give everyone an update as to what mischief I have been up to.

Still editing Transitioning Home, mostly because I see a number of issues and plot holes. Sheesh... I thought it was all good to go but apparently I am taking the crack. I was also looking over Splintered Life and realized there are a few more chapters lurking around in there. So that will get pulled at some point, fyi.

I am healing nicely from surgery, so that is a plus. Still having some issues writing but then again healing takes a lot out of you. I wish I could focus better but so it goes.

I am currently on Walkabout with my wife. We are leaving Madison Heights VA tomorrow and heading up to Vermont. That should be a lot of fun. Definitely going to enjoy that trip.

So there you go, what I am up to. :)

Have a good trip.

Have a good trip. Be careful what you kick, you don't want to hurt your feet.

Trip to Vermont

This means that you will be in the vicinity of Ravencrest and Skogshaven on your way north. :) You will also be passing fairly close to were I am now living as I now live in the Amherst MA area and am a part-time Bartender at the Amherst VFW Post 754 which I am a member of.

Glad to hear that you are getting better and stronger after your surgery. I have a bit of a wait before I can get mine. Hopefully by then the VA will finally be authorized to pay for it.

Yes people don't realize how draining it is

I got mine done at 39 and I am glad I did it at a relatively young age as recovering was relatively easy.

I would allow a lot more healing time in ones fifties and beyond.
