After complaint registered, the book Eric becomes Evelyn has been withdrawn by Amazon. Either than or the B****** perpetrator has got frightened and withdrawn it before any investigation can be conducted.
This book is the same as Erin becomes Evelyn on this site. They have changed Erin to Eric and taken my name illegally to post it on Amazon.
Note to all authors... anyone can copy your story from this site, change the name and upload it to Amazon. By the time you find out, they can have taken around $500 that is on your name, but not your account!

I had bought a book like that
They let me keep the book, and there's a bare bones page for the author.
Fortunately in the author's discussion group, there's enough info to get to the real author.

two names
the by author name is now tania allen but the book image has the name tanya allan. maybe they put it back up under a different spelling to get past tanya and amazons block of their book.
I have complained again
...to Amazon. This is a real insult, but I don't see what else I can do. I just hope people read reviews when they buy books. If anyone feels inclined to leave a comment/review.. you can, even if you don't buy the book. If enough people call him/her a thief and a fraud, it might work.

... now with the name Tonya Allenton (or something similar) so perhaps it'll no longer be confused with any of your novels. I read part of it via Kindle Unlimited but couldn't be bothered to finish it as it was so badly put together. With a bit of editing it could, possibly, be a half decent story but I stress, half decent. It's nothing like your quality and I speak as one who did a bit of proofing for you several years ago before Kindle existed (a different name :) )
btw, as a sailor, cyclist and fell walker ,I find that no clothes ameliorate the effects of strong winds :)

I just now did a full site search for tania allan and eric to evelyn with no luck. Of course I could have screwed up the search, not having any idea where to look.
I went outside once. The graphics weren' that great.
GONE AGAIN!
This time I reported a breach of copyright from this site, as the original author has had the content stolen and misrepresented under my name. In addition to any breach of US and UK copyright laws, I reported it as gaining a Pecuniary Advantage by deception, contrary to section 16 of the THEFT ACT 1968 (UK Law) , as repealed by the 2006 FRAUD ACT, which encompasses it under general fraud and deception.

Amazon sucks
I mean, couldn't they like compare part of the book submitted against other pulled books. I suspect even the first 1000 characters would be sufficient and would not take that much time with all the computing power under their command?
Not as practical as it seems
Imagine trying to compare the first 1000 chars with every book in their inventory, then imagine if someone adds or removes a word from the work they have plagiarised, or maybe a sentence.
I believe that once they start to do even the most basic checks the legal liability shifts towards them and that is a Pandora's box that nobody willingly opens.

can amazon stop him from doing it again by the way they pay him. so that when his bank or address come up they do not list the book he stole.
